Is it a clone or a counterfeit knockoff?

What do you call a 1:1 knockoff?

I have nothing against clones, but shouldn't they be left unmarked and just clone the dimensions and function of the original and not copy the branding and everything else?
:tldr:

I feel the same as Rabbit slayer on this, nothing wrong with a knock off , meaning its got a different name to it or the brand name in description in "X"

Using the logo is counterfeit.

Clone means copy of original, not a bad thing.... We all have clones of many , many things.

Cars, televisions, phones etc. I many time wish that clones/ copies etc did not have a logo. Many times even the logo on the original takes away from its looks.

I agree with the label issue but I think the biggest factor is if the buyer knows they're not buying an authentic. In my opinion it's a clone if the seller makes it known. It's a counterfeit if its being sold as the authentic.

I feel that clones are fine even if they marked as originals, just as long as they as they are sold as clones and for a clone price.

I would prefer they not copy logos, writing, packaging. It's also for the protection of the consumer since unscrupulous people have sold them to unknowing buyers as authentic.

I am not against clones though. I buy clones of many products ranging from medications to toilet paper.

Personally I choose to stay away from clones and only purchase from U.S. based vendors.

I'm with you on this one. It's time to bury this dead horse. We have bigger fish to fry. Vaping as we know it is under attack in the usa. All those against us will sit back and laugh as we fight among ourselves. Authentic vs clone, sub ohm tank vs Genny, Provari mods vs anything else, etc. It's all old news, none of that matters anymore. It has been quoted before, a house divided cannot stand. We need to be a united front at the moment. The vaping industry vs the FDA...

If 4 years from now if I want a new tank, I want to be able to buy it. I could care less if Santa Claus himself made the damn thing...
