I build my El Cabron with a single 22g kanthal at 0.3 ohm and use a Fuhattan or Praxis clone. I build my mutation with a 26g kanthal 1.1 or so single and use a regulated. I realize that those coils would not react the same. I did not think I would like 22g kanthal since I really don't care for 24g but I have to say I would not want anything else in the El Cabron. I don't build any fancy coils everyone talks.
Can the mutation hit like the El Cabron or are they different beasts?

I have a Tobeco Velocity coming and was going to try a 24g kanthal, 7 wrap each, as my first build. It would be used on a regulated device. I was hoping this would be more like the El Cabron.
The mutation is what I use, mostly, at the house when not using the El Cabron.
