I have Nemesis clone mechanical mod with Samsung INR18650-25R sdi battery and have been using quasar dripper with setup 0.3 ohms double coil on it for last few days and while it works great from time to time mod gets incredibly hot in a moment in the middle or at a bottom where the button is to the point where it burns me a bit but it also instantly cols down. When I asked my friend about it he said that what is probably happening is that I get hit by electricity and that I am crazy for even trying to vape such low ohm on mechanical mod because mechanical mods can't keep battery in check like electronic mods and that there is a chance that battery will explode if I keep at it. And while I also have an electronic box mod it has an blockade for setups below 0.5 ohms. So I was just wondering if someone can tell if what my friend said is correct or if it is wrong. I really like this 0.3 setup that I made but I don't won't to continue using if it is not save.

An arc at low amp is an arc at higher amps... just how fucky how fast it blows your fucking hand off is another thing.
Take your mech apart clean and inspect it looking for bits of wire, arc spots etc. Consider besides the battery replace the spring since it might be the weak link also. and get a damned ohm meter.

Yeah in my opinion I do like sub ohming on the mech mods i have had and currently am using but if your gonna be doing so make sure u have the right battery like 30/35 amps would be desirable. Also check al of your connections to make sure there is no juice inside maybe even take your button apart if possible to check for anything inside
No way your 25r is having issues at .3 ohms with nothing being wrong. And there's no such thing as a 35 amp cdr 18650. Lots of bullshit in this thread. You have shit connections somewhere and a nemesis has lots of connections. Even in the middle of the tube. Take the mod completely apart, I mean every single part, clean and inspect everything very well, check your build with a proper ohm meter that measures to the 1/100th and make sure you're getting a stable reading, put it all together and make sure it's all adjusted properly and unless you find a problem during inspection you should be good.
Thanks for taking the words out of my mouth Boomstick. That 25R can handle .3 ohms no problem. The mod has a malfunction some damn where.
A Samsung 25r is 20 amp continuous battery. At .2 ohms your pushing 20 amps. With .3 ohms, you are pushing 14 amps with a fully charged battery. It's not the build..
There are a few things you should look at other than arc spots(not saying don't look for them too, but these suggestions may also be possible). First and foremost, you need to make sure the bottom pin in your rda goes a little past the threads for the 510. That can cause a short, it won't hit properly, and it will cause the mod AND battery to heat up.
Next, if it is a aluminum or stainless clone, that could be part of it. Aluminum mods heat up fairly quickly, so does stainless steel.. but not as quickly as aluminum.
Last, check your mod's button. If it has magnets, consider replacing them with a loaded spring. If it has a spring, you may want to look into replacing it anyway.
