Is Max VG supposed to taste terrible?

I mixed a bottle of Max VG ( with 15% water so it wicks properly on the subtank mini RDA). The recipe used was a basic 2% FA Vanilla and 1% Fresh cream, but all I can taste is VG. Should I up the % or just throw the bottle away and make another one at 60/40?

Not with distilled water it will NOT produce vapor.
I go max 10% water IF that, and some flavorings for use in a protank. Cut back on the water a bit and then heat bath it since both those flavors will take a bit to shine.

I'd either bump the Vanilla to 3% or drop the Fresh to 0.5 That's me. Or do both. Vanilla Classic is one of my faves. Lots of max VG vapers get max flavor. Was this Vanilla Classic or Tahiti?

It was Vanilla Classic. I'll try bumping up the flavors to see what happens.

15% water seems a little high. I would start at 1 or 2% and see if you really need the water. and make sure you shake up your flavors. they settle\seperate sometimes.

Yeah, I make sure I shake every bottle. The water was probably the problem.

My ADV is a mix of 2% FA Vanilla Classic and 2% Fresh Cream. FA flavors are very concentrated so it's more than enough. Too much vanilla and the flavor tends to go "waxy". A few drops of sweetener also helps to make the flavor pop a bit. I normally prefer max VG for dripping, but will add 10% or so PG to run in a tank
