Yes, it is a good charger! When you aren't in a hurry, you can charge your batteries at 0.5A, otherwise charge at 1A for a quicker charge. However, it's "healthier" to charge them at 0.5A, or even 0.25A.

Actually my brother left his battery there since last night. I took it out but he put it back cuz it has overcharge protection and apparently stops. Is the charger known to be safe?

Im not convinced that they have any interest at al in vaping advocacl after looking at the board of directors I sense there is another motive that is deeper than meets the eye

Agreed, I have a different charger (Efest LUC V4) which gives me the option of recharging at 0.5/1/2 amps depending on how many cells I have in the charger but I always use 0.5 amps to charge my batteries. I have several batteries so I don't have to rush the charge on them.

Yes, they are safe. I have two Xtar chargers myself, the SP2 & the VC4. Haven't had any issues with either.

How long does it normally take to charge it up to full at .5A?
