Okay, so I was shopping for a mosfet box and found this mod. I asked if it had a mosfet and they said yes and sent this pic saying what is in the square in a mosfet but they didnt know the limitations of it for sure. I figure 0.15-0.25 is low enough but it being a wood box I dont want a campfire in my hand.

Looks like they attached a standard TO-220 style MOSFET to the side of the box, and then bent the leads in towards the middle. Of course we can't tell for sure unles we get a part number off of it, but it does look like thats what it is.

Not without getting the exact part number as well as how many volts you're using with it. From the picture it looks like a Parallel box (3.7V for estimation).

It is a parallel box, I am just wondering if it should handle a 0.15 - 0.25 build on my sony vtc4s

So I'm thinking about building a parallel 18650 box ....this whole mosfet thing......? I understand it .....but could I bypass using one if I use a kill switch rated for 40 amps @ 12 volts? Or would my fire button have to be high amp also?

I finally decided to just get a mosfet box from 3F Vape myself. It is made from Tesla (Tesla Invader II).
