Is this mod unobtanium?

I want something 100+ watts. VW/VV/TC

Charging port on the device.(I do power line work and if I am on call or work late carrying/fiddling with extra batteries isn't an option so I would like to be able to charge through the device)

It also needs to have decent battery life.

What I am looking to do is replace my IStick 50w. It is making me paranoid that it will start my house on fire and I am sick of it changing modes and "cutting out" while firing.

While my Istick isn't autofiring or doing anything dangerous yet I would like to get rid of it for something safer with higher watts and TC.

The battery life on the thing is amazing and that is hard to get rid of.

It seems like there are mods out there that meet most my requirements if I stick around 50-80 watts.
However I want to have 100+ watts at hand now that I am becoming more experienced building coils.

I have been attracted to 3, but they each have something missing. What are your opinions on these?

1.Sigelei 150W Temp Control The con-No charging port. (I would need the battery to last at least 2 days)

2.Vtbox 200w The con-Bad reviews ( Glued 510 and cheaply made)

3.Lavabox The con- 900 mAh 3 Cell may not last long. I however am not familar with these 3 cell batteries so correct me if i'm wrong. I am leaning towards this one when it comes out, as I can charge it if I have to.

AOkay, I can't speak to any of these mods, but the one thing I have seen repeated in multiple reviews is that the evolve chipsets "feel" like they do better with power management than the others, including the Yihi series. I have not seen anyone produce any empirical data to support the claim though. Just something to consider since battery life seems to be your biggest concern.

It will go two full days without a charge. That is 6 am to 6 pm each day including some vaping before bed in between. I run it at about 26 watts during the day.

I think you missed his first requirement of 100+ watts, and the eVic VT is only 60 watts. This is the hardest part I think, mods that powerful need lots of battery life to have any longevity, and it further complicates things when you add on a USB charge capability.

Look at the Vaporshark DNA200 with zip charging.

ok my recommendation based upon your requirements is to get an
IPV 4
not the IPV 4S

it will do all you want

heres the catches
1. you need a funky charge cable
but they are on ebay
www.ebay.com/itm/221750622695?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
2. while the 4400mah battery on the istick may last you 2 days, any mod that ges to 100w and utilizes 2 18650 user replaceable batteries, may not do the same for you, because the higher the watts you use, the more battery it uses. If you were to turn your istick up to 50w and use it there it will not last as long, so If you plan on using the new mod at higher watts you will never get the same time between charges.
the best batteries with the most storage capacity for a mod like this are LG hE2 at 3000mah

so that would give you 6000mah versus the 4400 mah of your istick, if you are not running the mod at 100 watts non stop and chain vaping you should get a full days use of it before needing to charge, but no guarantee its based on your watts and how much you vape.

@Kleinman, based on quite a bit of reading, the Lavabox looks like it may be the best contender from your original list. From what I can gather, the 3 cell lipo is roughly equivalent to 3x 18650 batteries, so it would be approximately a 2700mah battery. That will NOT last you 2 days though, so perhaps 2 of them would be necessary so that you can charge one while using the other. Also, I have NO IDEA how long it will take to charge it.

Keep in mind, this type of high capacity battery and high performance chip is relatively new, and may carry some disadvantages or even risks over the tried and true 18650 style mods. Make sure you do your research if you decide to go this route. HTH!

TBH, with all the reading I've been doing on it, I am almost convinced to pick up a DNA200 with a 3 cell lipo myself! The Lavabox looks pretty impressive, and I am sure there are more like it in the works. If the lipo battery tech is proven safe and reliable, and the prices drop, it could be the 18650 killer!

@Kleinman I know this does NOT meet the 100+ watt requirement, but it is such a good deal for a Labor day sale that I thought I would post it for your awareness/consideration. It is the Smok M80 Plus, 80w TC, PassThru, 4400mah battery ... If you can live with an 80w mod, it should be around $36 starting tomorrow using the code "LABORDAY15" at Litecigusa, AND there is a free shipping option for orders over $25 ... If it doesn't work for you, check the laborday sales listing on vapingcheap.

Again, I know it does not meet your 100+ watts, but it *might* be sufficient to hold you over while you continue searching for the perfect mod that has everything you want.

If you have a power outlet to charge pass-through then why not just get a sig 150 tc with 4 batteries and a 2 Bay charger. I know you said you didn't want to carry batteries but really a tiny bag of Vape supplies is a must have in my book.
