Bahahahahahahahahahah That was my parts car while i was building my 240 in high school. I paid for that car when I was 13 and had it built up till i was legal to drive....spent a lot of time in that thing....a LOT in fact I have owned 6 of them over the years, only car I have ever owned. Ive done a lot with that platform. Long before it was cool too drift...even tho I was really good at the controlled power sliding, i was much better at auto cross..
That van was a freaking RIOT that wooden spoiler covered with duct tape added 15 hp, i could actually sit on it...very sturdy...but the 2ltr pepsi NOS bottles I added later were good for 100hp...
The pimp wagon was pure art. There were many stages of that cars life, but My friends and I put 4 different car audio systems in that car and blew out the back glass at a competition in daytona one year..... there were 4 15's and 4 12inch subs....it was ridiculous. I wasn't even the audio guy, i was the wrench...KABOOOOOOM!!!!!!
Best part about this, is my dad I a built this van...it had port and polish, 3 angle valve job shaved heads, and a fresh air intake. It was faster then most hondas, God I do miss highschool days, life was much much simpler.
OHHH and that cone was on the roof for a day, I mounted it to the back sticking out like a tail. THEN, i rigged a small kids toy parachute (my favorite toy) to the back with a pull cord zipper bag. I would ride down the entry of the INTMO car group I used to be part of in 352 and it would always get everyone hyped up...it did a 14.8 in the 1/4 mile, and deployed the rainbow parachute at the end.....EPIC day
