Being bored with so many retail custards out there, I've developed a custard that suits my tastes, and hopefully suits yours! A rich, full bodied custard with nice citrus notes that has recently become my ADV. Unique and tasty!
Edit: Dropping FA Custard to 2% from 3%. Feel that at 3% it's a little smothering in the pudding department. YMMV.
Custard(FA) 2%
Custard(INW) 2%
Vienna Cream(FA) 2%
Meringue(FA) 1%
Marshmallow(FA) 1%
Torrone(FA) 0.5%
Flavor Total - 8.5%
FA and INW custards are the stars here. FA's custard has good pudding notes with a slight lemon backdrop. INW's custard adds great eggyness that FA's custard somewhat lacks (yolk wise). Vienna Cream adds even more creamyness with slight vanilla notes. Marshmallow adds body to boost the FA Custard while adding sweetness. Meringue is a great textured sweetener and plays in perfectly with the custard notes. Finally, Torrone is a great little accent that compliments the citrus notes in the FA Custard and adds depth and complexity to the entire flavor profile.
I recommend about a 2 week resting time here.
