I haven't had this thing for very long. And everything has been fine. Until tonight. I changed out the coil - did start a new box of them - and it began... let me see if I can describe this right. It isn't a dry hit. It seems to take a few seconds before actually works. The sensation is like you are trying to pull from a device you forgot to turn back on. It does eventually give me a hit, and if I chain vape for a moment, the following hits are fine. But if I let it sit for a few minutes this starts over again.

I have examined this thing - literally under a microscope - and cannot find any cracks in the glass. I have changed the coil four times to no avail. I have cleaned all contacts. Unfortunately, I don't have another working device to try it on.

Any ideas what could be wrong? I am finding it hard to believe that I would have entire box of bad coils. What do you think?

Battery? Never mind...that wouldn't make sense. What ohms is your device reading?

No, the device is only 2 months old and it is fully charged.

What are the ohms and your settings, deacon? It sounds like it could be some kind of an ohms issue with either your device or maybe mis-marked coils?

Well, it's a Coolfire IV, 32.5 W (have taken it down to 30 W and everything in between), .coils are .4 ohms.

It sounds like you switched to a different ohm or type of coil. If you were using the original coil, I believe stock is Stainless... the new ones you bought may be kanthal or nichrome... check the specs on your original purchase and compare it to the replacements you bought.

I have 3 V1 Tritons and I do not use the Triton coils in them... I buy the Atlantis .5 coils.

Is this your first tank? If not what tank did you use?
make sure the arrow on the top is not on fill position but in vaping position.
I think this tank has some type of airflow adjustment on the drip tip. Is it possible
you're getting max airflow through this tank and are not accustomed to the sensation?
Try your volts at 3.7V and work your way up to 4.2V and see if that doesn anything for you.

As mentioned above this sounds like either an issue/difference with the new coils (material), a battery issue, or a connection issue (dirty 510)

Isolate your variables and see what you find.
