Issue with running RTA's on mechs?

I posted my new set up, lemo 1 on OG republic mod.

I see most lemo's ran on those regulated box mods, is there an issue with running it on a mech?

The 510 on the lemo is flush, but my mod has a floating top pin, any issues?

No, you're good.

The issue is when you try to run a tank (or dripper or anything) without a protruding positive pin on a mod with a hybrid top cap. A hybrid top cap allows direct battery contact and could cause a short if everything isn't just so.

I just took a closer look. The 510 is adjustable on the lemo (by a lot) so I guess if I run it on a different mod (without a protruding top pin) I would be fine by just lengthening the 510 on the lemo, correct?

I loosened it a tad past flush and it's hitting even better now with my floating pin

I want to get a windrose clone by hcigar (22mm) and run it with a lemo 2 (22mm).

Is this top pin considered "protruding"?

That pin is referred to as spring loaded or fixed in the top cap of the mod..a protruding pin usually refers to the pin in the base of the tank ...like you see here

Love copper. As far as mechs I'll only be buying stainless, copper, and brass. Everything else looks "cheap" to me lol. Metal mods look classy IMO
