I just picked up an i100 tc mod. Previously, I have only used high end mods, but my vapor flask's fire button is junk and needs to be fixed, and I really wanted a dual battery mod in parallel. That severely limited my options without dropping $300 on the VF sx350j mod. So I went with the istick. It's not a bod little mod, aside from feeling cheaply made. But for $32 that is to be expected.
My problem is that only 2 of my tanks fit onto it without a disturbing amount of wiggle. I mean that they sit flush and make a good connection, but the tank wobbles like a gentle breeze could rip the 510 right out. I've since found out that others have had this problem. Is there a fix for it, or should I just get used to only using a couple of tank with it?

What tanks are we talking about? you need to screw whatever you have on top all the way in so that it sits completely flush and then it will not wiggle, if you are using RTAs with adjustable positive pin, screw it all the way in to make it as short as possible and not protrude and then screw it on the mod until it rests on top of it, otherwise use a 510 heat sink with a short pin/threads so that it sits flush and then screw your tank on it, otherwise there is no solution, that is the way it is with all the iSticks TC100W, Eleaf knows about this, they said they will look into it but then they did not ..

Both of my subtank mini's and toptank mini. I do screw them in all of the way. I've even held up light to the base of the tank to make sure not even a sliver can get through. And they have completely flush 510 pins. So it's not the pin protruding too much. My Silo Beast doesn't rattle at all, and that pins sticks out a few mm.

This is speculation based on the JT/Wismec/Eleaf sharing of tech, though I haven't seen interior pics of too many, so...

... inside at least one, the 510 is pressfit in a formed shelf, like a routered groove.
This leaves a little play, even with the atty fully seated.

It's a different issue from the over-tightening of the short-throw 510.
It's most noticeable on my VTC, and luckily only if I wiggle it on purpose.

I have heard that the 510 on the i100 is press fit, and that that is probably the issue. I like to tinker, but don't always know where to start. Have you come across an fixes for it? My tanks wiggle as soon as I touch them to my lips, and I am prone to taking my mods out of my pocket by grabbing the tank. So eventually, I'm sure I'll pull my tank out with the 510 attached, leaving the mod in my pocket hanging on by the wires

Well luckily, I don't think you'll be pulling the 510 out the top anytime soon. :p

But, if you have that much wiggle...
The two ideas I saw were to either use some form of adhesive, or fabricate a small wedge to close up the open side/end of the groove the 510 sits in.

Like Vapomizer said, a 510 heat sink would help. I add them to all of my mods to protect the 510 threads. Will add a little height to tank though.

Montana, adding hight wouldn't bother me much. But if the tanks wiggle, why wouldn't the heat sink wiggle, too? I would like to try it though, since a few of my tanks get really hot even at lower wattages. My Crown is scorching hot with the 0.5ohm coils at 35 watts after only 5-10 hits

I've tried a few different ones from fasttech. Every one has screwed all the way down so that it tightens down on top of the mod. Hence, it can't really wiggle. If you get one, make sure it's not a really short one. Otherwise, you tank will still not tighten down flush with top of 510 heat sink.

So even if the tank sits completely flush, you think that if the 510 threads/pin are too short, that that is what is making it rattle? Because the 510 on my silo beast is significantly longer than any of the subtank mini's, and it doesn't rattle at all
