I think my love affair with my 30 watt Istick is fading. I can live with the rattly button, but now the top cover is constantly lose. I can't tighten it properly because I don't have (& can't buy anywhere) a torx driver small enough. I can tighten it a little bit with a tiny flat head but its lose again in a day or two. Its really annoying when the whole thing rattles in your hand. Has anyone found a way to tighten it properly.

I now find myself straying & looking at Clouper Minis.:D

You can use a dab loc-tite blue or even green...this should keep whatever tightness you can get it to stay put...order a torx online if you cant get one locally.

Cloupor mini has been a good little box for me so far...I would just caution against using the usb port to charge it with...Get you a charger and some batteries to use.

A Nitecore i2 and samsung 25R's are working for me so far.

Cheaper just to buy one of these (this is what I use):

What Mike H. said.

Or you can get a Sigelei 30 Watt Mini and you can charge those safely using the USB.

But Extra batteries and a Good Charger are good to have as well!

I thought about using loc tite, but until I find the proper torx driver I am scared to un-screw the scews all the way out. I have to google what size torx I need because I have no idea what size it is. I have really small torx drivers at work, but even these are too big for the Istick screws.

Has there been problems with charging the Clouper Mini with the USB port, or is that just something you should not do with mods with removable batteries? One of the reasons I like the Clouper Mini (& my Istick) is the ability to charge it with the usb port.

Some have reported issues with the usb burning up and causing fires..Im pretty sure it was a batch of the earlier models but to be on the safe side i just dont use it...A quality charger charges the battery faster anyways and does a better job of charging in general which is better for battery life over time...for less than 30 dollars its been the best little mod i own...No button issues or screws coming loose and its as small as the i stick 20 but you can use 2600mah batteries...Best part is when a battery goes bad you just buy another one...you dont have to throw out the whole device and buy a new one.

Thanks for the heads up. I would not want to take any chances with something causing a fire in my house.

Any mod with a battery in it or just batteries have this risk..Dont let it scare you too much...Just dont use the usb and i think the risk is alot less (just to be on safe side.)

I totally agree with what has been said about charging batteries externally on a good charger.

However, I have a couple of mods that I charge via the USB mostly for use when I travel for convenience.

The Sigelei 30 watt mini is one of them.

Granted the first few times I charged it via the USB, the mod was placed in a very large and deep ceramic bowl where I could monitor it as it charged. Now that I know it is good to go being charged like that, I have no worries just plugging it in to charge either at home or my hotel room.

However, I also carry a fully charged replacement battery with me incase the day goes long and I vape more than usual.

Charging in a ceramic bowl sounds like a good idea for any mod.

I finally got my hands on the proper size Torx drive. If anyone else is looking for the proper size its a Torx T-5. I tightened all my screws and I am very happy with my Istick again.

Much better off with the Pico it the best mod I have ever owned. You can get the star bits at Harbor Freight.

Yup I agree - I also own a Pico + Melo III mini - I just like to have a backup mod. I ended up getting a tool kit w/Torx 2 through T15 from amazon (prime) for under $8
