iStick 40W TC thoughts?

After hearing that both my mom and my sister had bought vaping devices (not sure what they are....I asked and they were clueless) and failed to get off of smokes with them, I decided that when they come up for my wedding reception in a few weeks that I would be nice, PIF, and pass on their choice of my excess gear. I honestly think that they will prefer the iStick 30W with either a subtank mini, subtank nano, or a Nautilus mini or the Vapor Shark 30 with the aforementioned tanks. I also have an Aspire CF Subohm and a MVP 3.0 that they might prefer. I will also be nice and send them home with coils, juice, and a strict admonishment about buying vape gear at flea markets!

Anyways, I realized that by donating to the cause like this (and knowing what they will most likely gravitate towards), I realized that I will soon be without a pocket carry mod. So, with MyFreedomSmokes.com having that 17% off deal through tonight at midnight, I jumped on the iStick 40W TC mod. With it being so new to the market, I have found very few real world, put to use, reviews of this device.

So any thoughts on this mod from actual users? I'm anxious to get my mitts on it.....but it will arrive when I'm out of town so I won't see it until Friday (another example of work always getting in the way of cool stuff!)

I think you'll get varied opinions on the 40wtc. I have it and really like it. I use the new eGrip for my stealth, all day carry around device, but the istick is definitely small enough to do that with. I usually pair mine with my subtank mini with either the OCC Nickel coils or my own tc build. I think it performs quite well. It is probably a bit underpowered, but I get plenty of satisfaction from it. I do have to run it a little higher than some of my other tc devices. Battery life is decent. You won't be able to chain vape it all day. But for my vaping habits it will definitely take me through the work day, and usually the evening as well. I think it's a solid little device and for the money.......not sure you can beat it.

Hey. I bought one of these last Wednesday and I love it! My only knock on it is that with the way I vape it won't last all day on a charge.... so yesterday I went and got another lol. 2 months ago I finally got a Sigelei 150 and I like that box too but it's like carrying around a suitcase all day. I find the TC 40 to be powerful enough for my needs, it handles very low Ohm builds, the temp control allows you to get best taste out of your juice and holding it in the hand is addictive. One of my best buys since I started vaping. My two cents.
