iZombie continues to put its best brains forward. It's sometimes hard to believe this is a show in its first season because it seems so comfortable. They found their stride early on, and it's only getting stronger. Tonight's episode written by Aiyana White was another example of a carefully measured, tasty mix of drama, gore, and laughs.
Major's story continued down a darker path. It's been something else to watch this golden boy become a regularly bruised and bloodied guy. He didn't become a zombie, but in some ways, he's going through a life-changing experience similar to Liv's. Robert Buckley is doing wonders at bringing a new, determined edge to the previously very naïve Major. His performance is making the transformation realistic, and you can't help but root for him. I want Major to learn the truth. It's frustrating that Liv didn't come clean with him.
