I'm curious as to what effect this may have. How much authority does the 'Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee' have? For example, can they stop the FDA?

I can't help but think that these are questions that should have been answered by the FDA *before* it issued the regulations.

This is why they kept the deeming regulations a secret before publishing them
