Joyetech Cuboid has broken...

Hello guys!
I need your help and some knowledge if someone have faced problems like these.
First of all, my Cuboid refused to show me resistance of an atomizer, but it started from lagging. I think it's connector issue but i'm not sure about this.
And the second thing - it fully stopped working. Actually it doesn't turn on with batteries inside. But the screen shows information via usb connection. I don't know what it can be. And the worst thing - there's no one in my city who can fix it.
I hope you can help guys, thanks.

1st (and I'm not trying to be a smart ass), make sure your batteries are fully charged. I'm sure they probably are, but double check.

2nd, make sure the batteries are installed the right way. Again, just a double check.

Finally, if the batteries are fully charged, and installed properly, using your fingers only, squeeze the door shut and hold it, then turn on the mod. If it comes on normally, release your squeeze grip. Does the mod stay on, or go right back to acting up?

Yes, batteries are fully charged. Tried your advice out, but it didn't work. Mod is still 'black screened'. T_T

How long have you had it?

I just returned mine last week because it stopped working very shortly after I got it.

For about 2 months, but there's a problem too :D - i bought it while i was on a weekend in another country. So it will be impossible to return it(

Oh wow, sorry to hear that. Sounds like you need to find someone local who knows their way around a soldering iron and electronics.

It sounds like the electronics are fine, if the USB will power the unit and make it show screen info. What you seem to have is a circuit interruption in your battery case. A lot of times, a spring or compessible contact, will get squashed by the weight of the battery if the mod is dropped. Use some kind of long skinny hook, chop stick ,whatever and see if you can stretch open any "springy" battery contact to make sure you are getting full contact at top & bottom of each battery. I'm guess this is your problem.

I realize you bought it out of the country, Why not send Joytech an email? Tell them what happened & see what they say.
The worst they can say is No they wont fix it. I think it's worth a Shoot. :)
