Hello guys, I'm new to subohm vaping and I just purchased the joyetech delta 2 (0.5 ohm standard heads) with the smy60w box mod. I'm going to be using this with my favorite 50vg/50pg grey matter e juice from mistereliquid and I wanted your advice on what wattage I should be vaping at and how open the juice control valves on the coil head should be and how open the air control should be. I'm going to be taking deep lung hits if that helps. Thanks in advance and I really do appreciate it.

That's really going to be trial and error to find out what works best for you! You could for instance start at 20 watts with the juice control wide open (for deep lung hits). If you get gurgling turn the juice control down a bit. Go up until you hit the spot where it doesn't burn. If I remember correctly I was running those coils somewhere around 25 watts, but it could have been a tad higher (30?). I don't recall that you can go that high with those coils without burning, but the only way to find it is to turn it up until you get a hint of burn then turn it back down.

thanks for the reply, after fiddling with it for the past few hours, Ive found my sweet spot at 32W with the juice control wide open, vaping it at around 20W was too cool a vape for me and generally not enjoyable. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and clouds this thing can produce.
