Sweet yet refreshing. Creamy, tropical, candy and citrus.
Strange but familiar, it reminds me of lollipops I might have had in a foreign country or a past life. It's good, though--a good fruity balance. (FYI: FLV Coconut and FLV Vanilla Custard contain baddies).

3% Flavorah Pink Guava (This flavor is much more like grapefruit than guava).
1.5% FA Cantaloupe
0.7% FA Pear
0.25% Flavorah Coconut
0.2% FA White Peach
1% FA Apple
0.25% FA Meringue
optional:
1-2% Flavorah Vanilla Custard I like it in here. FLV V.C. doesn't add a whole lot of vanilla or other character the way Caps or TFA would--just smooth creaminess and slight sweetness.)
_____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____

Since a lot of people don't have Flavorah flavors and/or don't vape diketones, here's an (untested) alternate version of this that uses FA subs but has no diacetyl subs--is baddie free:

Juicy Pop Flavour Art Version

0.75% FA Grapefruit
1.5% FA Cantaloupe
0.7% FA Pear
0.25% FA Coconut
0.2% FA White Peach
1% FA Apple
0.75% FA Meringue
0.5% FA Fresh Cream
1% EM @10%

If anyone is brave enough to try it, I'd love to hear what you think. I'll make it as soon as I get FA Grapefruit and see how close it comes.

Since I don't know anything about Flavorah, (though I'm sure you will convince me to try them) I'll just say this about the FA version. I.5% FA Grapefruit in an under 7% recipe is going to make you pucker till you finally break down and add every sugar substitute there is. Then you die. Just saying...

Actually I see where you are going, and I'll give it a try.

Ok, wait--no, come back! Don't give it a try, try less. Maybe .75% is a better place to start. I'll change it, come to think of it. As you can see, I don't actually have it. I knew it was sour but I didn't know it was *that* sour.

Pink Guava is not really so very sour, but it is definitely grapefruitlike and it has a tart edge, and in this mix, a slight bitterness that makes it seem even more grapefruitlike than usual. Wow, I'm really selling it, aren't I? It's actually an awesome flavor. Pink Guava is the only FLV flavor I would use that adjective for--not that I've tried them all, but I have tried more than half. It's my fave FLV flavor and possibly THE one that I would say is worth having without qualification. People seem to like them and those who do often say how "clean" the flavors are. I don't really know what that is supposed to mean. Most of them are fairly simple, that's for sure. And they are all sort of creamy, somehow. Even those you would never expect to be creamy, like their semi-tart Green Apple flavor--are creamy.

The last three ingredients on the alternate are supposed to temper the tartness of the fa Grapefruit: Meringue, Fresh Cream and EM.

Dang, you had me all the way until Fresh Cream. :(

I was thinking I might be one of the guinea pigs but now I'm gonna have to wait and see if there are any survivors. :D

Hey Lirruping! Thanks for sharing the recipe! Can I ask, How do you like Flavorah's custard? I have a few of their flavors but not custard. I'm kind of a custard freak.
How doe it measure up to Cap and FA, which I realize are two very different custards. Thx

I think I might be a minority opinion on this since a lot of people are crazy about Flavorah Custard, but I find a little boring. I mean... i'm sure it has its uses, and I'm sure I don't even appreciate what all of them are--so I'm keeping an open mind.

It smells a lot like vanilla cake or pudding in the bottle, but once mixed--at least at the (vendor rec'd) percentages I've worked with: up to 6%--it seems to lose some of that yummy artificial vanilla flavor. I think for people who like it, one reason is that it's similar to Caps, but lacks what some people identify as that "chemically" tasting aspect in caps. It's like a super-smooth, subdued version of caps v.c.

In this mix, I thought it might have the effect of blending the flavors together, but interestingly, I can still taste them all distinctly even after a month's steep. And that turned out to be fine--just not what I expected. Anyway, it's definitely a mixer, or a background sort of flavor. And who knows, it may have secrets yet to be unlocked.

As to how it compares to FA Custard, there's not much that's similar. They are both good as creamy additives, but FLV is much more like Caps or TFA Vanilla Custards than it is like FA.
