So I just upgraded from a kanger sub tank plus to the Greek vape Griffin and all I can say is Damn even at 50 watt its sexy as hell. I have a new box mod coming Friday so I can bump it up to 75 watt and see what it can really do.

This was the best 30 bucks I've spent so far on vaping =)

My Griffin doesn't have the "Griffin" script on the chamber.... Anyone know if mine is an earlier version, or any other idea?

None of mine do. I believe the script was on the earliest version!

Only the Black Griffins do...The Silver Griffins with the script are Reviewer Samples only.

Well I am new to coil building
Its one of the easiest deck to build on, the 2 post/four posthole deck makes it very easy to install coils and maintain them.
After wrapping up a coil keep your leads about an inch long, the postholes are in the same fashion as the leads so they slip right in without fuss and then tighten down each screw and bend the leads outwards. Then repeat with the second coil and then clip all the leads.

I love mine so much I want another one, but gonna hold out for the 25mm version.
Same here. I wouldn't be able to keep this thing fed if I didn't mix my own juice though.

Ya I've noticed the increase in juice consumption from 10ml a week with my kanger to 40 a week on the griffin but it tastes a lot better, and changing out wicks vs buying coil heads is a lot cheaper. So far I've only had to change wicks once due to playing with wattage on my new box mod.

I also got a Griffin yesterday. Wow.......it's awesome. I've had a aromamizer but this is far better. Glad I took the plunge and bought one. Don't know about the 25, this one seems fine. I noticed they are selling a top kit for the 22!that opens for top air flow. All the same, I'm digging this the way it is.

I just got two in yesterday. Really easy to build and wick. Great flavor and creating a weather system in my house with the clouds. But man does it suck down the juice even with a conservative 26k/38Ni80 clapton build at 0.4 ohms and running at 50 watts. Good thing I DIY, otherwise I would be broke with commercial juice...

I'm a bottom fed REO RDA guy, but these critters are a good addition to my arsenal.

You like those bottom fed REO's? I've heard several that use it. Gotta look up. Maybe I'm missing something lol

You can't beat dripping from the bottom while driving. Just give them a squonk. All the flavor of a dripper without the hassle. I only have 4 of them... They go with me on all my work trips as they are pretty good with the pressure changes on planes and not leaking. These tanks would probably squirt all over my carry on if I had juice in them.

Check those out! Never seen one before.Looks crazy. First pic I thought was a mason jar with a huge deck, but I see what it does basically. Holds juice in container on bottom, give a squeeze and it juices the wick. Would be great to use in car or at work.

On the Snow Wolf Mini your pointer finger hits the firing button and your thumb rests perfectly on the bottle...its the perfect lazy setup for relaxing ;)

You guys should go over to TBD Liquids if you want one. They are running a 25% off sale (juicedb has the code) and the Griffin RTA is already discounted. Just picked up 60mls of juice, the Griffin RTA, and 2 Nixon v2 RDA's with glass caps for $53 shipped!

What I have noticed is every time I get a new tank, the damn thing drinks more juice. When I started vaping it was the equivalent of a moped's use of gas. Now It's like a 1975 Cadillac 501 C.U. Engine. I love my Griffin to death, but it's making me whip up more juice since it's such a juice pig. I love the thick flavorful vapor, but Damn! I went though a 30 Ml bottle of my Chocolate Custard DIY in a freaking afternoon!

I didn't think I was alone in this, but there have been times I wondered! My daughter loves Kambucha, so I now use those bottles to make my ADV 13 ounces at a time :p

Can you get just the atty w/o the sqounk lower section? Looking for a good atty with the velocity style deck that is squonkable. Have a great mech squonker that I love, my lp REO.
Not that I know of...The Velocity can have a Bottom Feeder Pin put in, they only run $2-$4

The mini velocity (it only comes as a clone) comes with the squonker pin. I used it for a while on my Reos until I decided that mechs just didn't cut it for me :p So now I just use it on my RX200 if I'm testing juice.

The Griffen is the best RTA on the market....IMO. The flavor and thick clouds are top notch. That being said I do have one problem with it.....it leaks. Not alot, bit it does just enough to get my fingers all messed up and I never lay it down flat or on my clothes because there will be a spot when I pick it up. I've tried about every wicking method and watched every video on wicking it and I still always have a small amount of leaking going on. It's a great RTA for the house but it stays there so i don't get juice all over me while I'm out.

I said the same thing but I just received a Boreas from Augvape from Augvape themselves and I cant believe how great it is...It hold bigger coils then the Griffin, wicks better, holds 8ml and has swappable decks for it....Its a monster.

Glad you like it. Watched Brian's review from the vapor chronicles on it and he really liked it. I just prefer a smaller tank. I don't want the bigger Griffen because it's not as mobile friendly and big tanks look bad on smaller mods....IMO. Brian was vaping the Boreas at 155 watts.....that's crazy!!!!

Yea Im maxed out on the Hohm Wrecker G2 and its nice and warm, the 151w on the HWG2 seems stronger then any of the 200w mods I own (False wattage I think)...
The Fused Claptons I have in it you can almost poke a pencil through them lol...

The RTA market has blow up in the past couple of months and I can see why. You get the best of both worlds and the Vape that comes from a RTA is top notch. Thought the ceramic coil thing would be the next big thing but it's not catching on. The market just keeps reinventing itself and I love it!!!!

@Zamazam The Hastur V2 RDA has a Velocity style deck and comes with a BF pin. Be aware that the o-rings are a little on the thin side as the cap comes off way too easy, but o-rings can be replaced with thicker ones. Also, the pin will only drain back down to the top of the positive pin base so there is juice left in it after squonking. I got mine at VaporDNA for $29.95. The Velocity BF pins stick out 2 or 3 mm above the positive pin base so they leave a lot of juice in the well compared to the Hastur.
