I smoked for over 45 years, tried everything to quit, vaping works for me. I wish it had been around 50 years ago, but it's here now and I enjoy my vaping, smoke free life. After you find flavors you enjoy, you will never want to go back to stinky smokes.

Chantix didn't work for me. I tried twice. It had no effect on me at all.

Nothing, I have PTSD and take sleeping meds , so that may have played a role in why it didn't work for me.

Chantix didn't work for me either. I also am on sleeping meds so maybe that is why? Huh I didn't know that they didn't get along. I did not have vivid dreams but I had some strange thoughts and fixations. Plus it lead to acute pancreatitis and I was in the hospital for 30 days so I quite taking it. Vaping works for me. It has at least been 2 years for vaping. I vapid and smoked for awhile.

I just wanna kick my smoking habit. So I decided to try vaping. Why do you try vaping? And How many years have you been vaping?
I was diagnosed with some bad shit in my lungs. White spots that would start to spider web if didnt quit my 37 year, 3 pack a day habit. Nothing else worked. I havent had a cigarette since the day I started vaping maybe 2 1/2 years ago.

Im not dying anymore. I breath better, I feel better, I can sleep through the night now, I dont have to get up out of my sleep twice a night to pee anymore, I can sit through an entire movie now for the first time in 35 years, I dont get headaches from carpet glue in ciggs anymore, Sex is much better.

Take your pick. The last reason is enough to quit.

I started vaping six months ago and started alternating. I'm 37, and didn't want to end up like my grandmother dying of lung cancer that was 12 years ago, and it was the most horrible thing I ever went through. I can see her death gasps clear as day, to this day. It's a horrible death.
I would smoke a half a pack or more, while vaping. I started with an ego, went to an I stick 20, and now have a kanger subox mini. The smaller mods would not keep me captivated. The ego was too much like a cigarette. The I stick puffed like one, regardless of flavors. The subox can fill up a room with vape. I can do tornado tricks, halos, rings. Entertain people! It's fun!

There are so many good flavors and is far removed from cigarettes. The patch, gum, cold turkey never worked because I love smoking. The only advice I can give is to keep yourself entertained and enriched. Go buy a new flavor. A new and bigger toy. Experiment, research and have fun. Don't worry so much about the cost. Youll make up for it before you know it and you will forget about cigs. Youll be concerned about your toys, flavors makeups. You are not alone, we've all be there, and you'll always have support!

I started on patched through my State's quit assist program, however, I found that I was allergic to the glue on the patches, I tolerated the soreness, itching and blotching for a while but it just got worse and worse. A friend of mine vapes and suggested I try it and never looked back been off smoking for 2-3 months now.

I have been off the cigs for 6 weeks now and am enjoying this vaping so much that I cannot imagine ever going back. I do have a goal of reducing the nicotine level, but just enjoy the whole device options and juice choices thing. I do have to admit that subconsciously I find myself reaching for where I would keep the cigs. Especially in my truck with an overhead compartment. I occasionally will throw my hand up there and then realize what a habit (45 years) I had.

i tried vaping 5 1/2 years ago because i simply could not take a deep breath any longer...i determined myself that cigarettes were definately killing me so i ordered watever was available 5 years ago and from day one i never looked back.. never smoked another cig... ever... i luv vaping and have gotten all my friends to vape... no one of us has ever had any bad reactions to any type of juice be it vg or pg or both....i do believe that vaping has saved my life i can breathe again and do things i could no longer do...

Me too, on the glue sensitivity. I ended up with nasty welts. It took a couple tries to find the right vaping set up, but once I did, I can't see going back to cigs ever. I smoked 30 years. I still take my smoke breaks at work, but with an istick instead of a marlboro. I have friends that still smoke, but it doesn't tempt me now. It stinks. LOL. I don't pressure them, but hopefully I'll rub off on em. I never tried Chantix, but wellbutrin made me a twitchy mess. Horrible nightmares too. Vaping wins, hands down.
