Kanger Aerotank Vs Aerotank Mega

So i had been using a Kanger Aerotank for months and loved it on my MVP, then got the .8 ohm coils and LOVED it on my DNA 30 at about 18 watts it chucked vaper and flavor was the best thing i had used next to a dripper.
So i loved it so much i bought a Mega to put on my DNA 30, was so excited... till i vaped it and got burnt taste by 2nd/3rd hit, still on .8 ohm coils same juice, difrent juice, high PG juice, high VG juice i tried it all. I've tried wattage from 7-18 no matter where it is it burns.
So reluctantly i put the stock 2ohm coils in it and at anything over 8.5 watts i get burnt flavor.
I'm really disappointed because i LOVE the Aerotank and love the way the Mega looks on my Hana Modz.

Anyone else had burning problems with this tank? figured anyway around it?
like said cant be the coils cuz i've tried all different ohms and they all worked great in original Aerotank.

I don't know much about mods but I do know my bf uses both of those tanks. We haven't tried the new sub ohm coils Kanger released, so all we use is the originals and stock coils. He's never had a problem with burnt hits unless the coil has gone bad. Give the stock ones a shot and see if it still happens. If it helps, he uses a Cronus mod, we haven't stepped up to the Hana type mods. Try a different mod too. I know its not the same but when I was using the Cool Fire 1, all the sudden all my juices in all my tanks (mainly Kanger) started tasting burnt after a couple hits. When I would switch to my mvp or Cronus, they wouldn't do it. We assumed something happened with my Cool Fire so I completely stopped using it.
