SO this has me a little stumped. I recently picked up the ipvD2 from wake and vaoe and added the subtank MIni V2 in black as I have really been wanting one and I thought it would loos sick all blacked out. Everything arrived quickly so I popped in a new Nickel coil , primed it and let it soak put it on my D2 , set the resistance and prepared for my first vape and BOOM, the worst burnt coil taste. Stumped as I was i chceked to make sure t was in fact a nickel coil and it was, so I put it on my IPV3li, same burnt coil taste, then tried it on my snowwolf, same thing, Evic VT, same thing. Thinking it was maybe just a bad coil I pulled a slightly used nickel coil out of my silver subtank that I had been using and that I knew worked correctly and the same thing happened across all the mods. but it gets even weirder, just for the sake of trying things I threw it on my Istick 40TC and it works perfectly, thats the only mod that I can use this tank on with out getting the burnt coil taste. I am currently running a black Herakles on the D and it works great and looks awesome, but pretty much every other tank I have tried has worked fine and I have tried a lot of them.It has to be something to do with the black kanger tank, has anyone else experienced anything like this before?
something else I noticed while swapping tanks and mods. My evic TC will not work with either if my herakles tanks with nickel coils, it reads the resistance, fires for a moment then goes directly into temp protect mode. thats the only tank I have has issues with in that mod and I have run pretty much every tank you can get nickel coils for on it, hell I even ordered some Ti coils for my delta 2 just to try it out.
now im really just going on but a third thing I noticed is that none of my temp mods will fire the ego one mega other than the Evic TC, I dont even like the tank really, I have barely even used it , but I thought I would try it on the Istick because it would look good with the black and chrome on the black I stick, wouldn't read it. all my other Temp mods will read t he nickel coil but go right into temp protection mode as soon as I try to fire it regardless of the temperature or watt settings
I know temp control is still a new thing. ever changing and evolving, but these are just a few strange things I have noticed. If anyone else has had issues like this please Chime in
