Kanger subtank mini garbage!!!!! Rant

great second post for me

but exactly the day before my snow wolf shows up and 3 days before my uwell tank arrives my tank on my starter kit shit the bed.

I've had the kbox mini starter kit since sept 2nd.
Around lunch break today it started gurgling and spitting into my mouth. I've tried switching out from my regular occ coils to the rba, gurgle and spitting crazy then attempted 2 brand new occ coils. Just lifted it up to look at it and it's leaking right out the air hole. Kangertech, you produced a hyped up piece of chit!!!!!.

Now I'll be spending my first day of my almost 2 months cigarette/cigar free without any vape. And I'll have to wait till my batteries charge into the evening and swing by the LVS on way home being forced to try my first dripper or forced into a backup tank.

Was hoping to use my Kanger as a at work piece but now the Mod is gonna be a paper weight.

What a waste and sorry for the rant of frustration

I've had a couple Kanger OCC coils that were crap straight out of the box, but never more than one at a time. My rate for boxes of 5 so far has been 4/5 are good.

The bad ones I've had have both leaked up the chimney after closing it up/filling/sitting. Like mouthfuls of e-juice. I now know that if I get a leaker to swap it out.

Have you checked the bottom where the coil/RBA seals? Are there any defects or burrs or even an (extra) stuck gasket? Is the tank/mod an authentic or a clone?

I'd check every o-ring. If they don't seal off properly, air goes into the tank, thus causing leaking.

Sometimes when it misbehaves, take the whole thing apart, remove all the o rings, wash everything in hot soapy water, and when it's dry put it back together. That will often fix a leaky subtank!

I have a Subtank Nano, Mini, and Plus. No problems whatsoever. Once in a while I get a bad OCC coil and when I mean bad I mean it only lasts a few days but that's it.

No problems to report here either. But like @AmandaD mentioned above, a good cleaning goes a long way.

I had the same problem with the 1.5ohm coil. I talked to the guy at the shop and he thinks I was inhaling too hard for that coil. 1.5 is supposed to be a mouth to lung hit, and I was still inhaling like it was a .5 direct to lung. I put in the rba and had no more problems.
