Kanger Subtank Mini Leak

So I have the Kanger subtank mini which im running on the eleaf istick 50w and I've noticed that liquid will pool inside the drip tip and under the drip tip as I hit it. I've tried to cut the airflow down, tried using both the OCC coils and the rba and I've made sure everything is tightened properly, also I've checked the o-rings and can't find any defects, all of which did not help. When I first noticed the problem I disassembled the tank and cleaned it completely and I notice some eliquid inside the airflow chamber. I have been taking this to work with me, which I work on an ambulance so I go from the cold outside to the hot inside of the ambulance but throughout my research I haven't found anyone who's had this problem. If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it.

Ive heard that the tank can only be filled about half way. I don't know if that's the answer though. There are a bunch of threads about the Kanger sub tank issues, maybe search through some of them for your answer?

Sounds like condensation build up... does this happen right away, or after you've been using it for a while? ... How big is the opening on the drip tip you have on it?... Sometimes a drip tip with too small of hole can cause the condensation as well.

My mother just got one (mini). It was working great, then when the juice got low it started to leak out of the airflow holes. The dude at my B&M said it has to do with the air pressure inside the tank. Can anyone verify this for me?? Basically as the juice gets lower, the air pressure increases, which in turn begins to squeeze the juice out, through the airflow holes.
To fix he said just unscrew the base to relieve the pressure, then tighten it back and vape. It'd not that I disagree with the guy, Just looking for some confirmation.
It's a great tank but for that money, it should never leak. If it does it again, what else could I do??

Another question about the Sub tank mini. Had anyone else here used it like a drip mod. I got it on an istick 50w. I took the tank off, screwed the rba on and used it like any other drip mod.

Yes it is stated that you should never let the tank go down to 1/3 juice level. I have had a minor leak from time to time, i wouldnt call it a leak as more a drip or two.

That could be it although I changed the drip tip on mine from the big bore one that came with it to a smaller one, I haven't had the issues yet.

Ok, thanks for that. Do you know of a way to stop it from leaking? Or is the answer to unscrew the top to release the air pressure? Thanks again!

You have double checked the condition and placement of your o-rings as well?

Yea, I checked the O rings. They seem nice and snug. No nicks etc...I was thinking about wrapping dental floss around the threads just in case. Now the tank is full and not leaking, so I'll see what happens in a little while. Thanks for your help!!

Been using the mini for a few days and I've noticed a little leaking out the top into the drip tip but still not enough where it's spitting into my mouth.. other than that no issues so far with it.. vaping just as good as my full sizes ST

Thanks guys for all the help. There was no leaking out of the airflow holes yesterday or at all as I stuck with what my guy at the BnM told me, which was unscrew and release the air pressure. Today Ill be able to experiment a bit more and see what' happens. Gonna throw the RBA in to.

Has anyone used this tank as you would a drip mod? By that I mean take off the tank and top piece, put the rba on and drip it/vape it without the tank on? Looks like a mini atomiser without a drip tip....
