A few weeks ago, I finally purchased a Kanger Subtank Mini.

My grand plan was to get a few RBA heads to have built and wicked and ready to swap out when needed.

Then I took the Teeny, Tiny piece of metal out of its box and my poor eyesight and fat fingers were extremely intimidated by how small the thing was.

Anyway, it came with a coil already installed so I inserted a wick, primed it, put in the tank and filled and all was well with the world.

But then the day came after a couple of dry burns when the coil fired for the last time.

Time to pull out my build box and get to work. Wrapped a coil identical to the one that was factory installed so the legs were pointing in opposite directions.

Now it was time to deal with those really small screws.

Here is the neat part, the screws sit between two little upright flanges or post.

It is beyond easy to take the legs, move them over the post and position under the screws once you have backed them out enough to where the wire can go over the top of the post and under the screwhead. Then you simply tighten the screws, position the coil and snip off the excess wire.

It is actually easier to build one of these than it is to build the super easy Kayfun series!

I also noticed those recessed screws.
my first builds of this sort were on a v1 lemo and it was a pain trying to capture the wire just so. My solution was to carve a groove with my hobby files for the wire to rest in and it made a world of difference.
no more fighting with holding the coil and trying to tighten the connection only to have the leg slip out on the last turn of the screw....

Fwiw,I know it isn't your pic and this may be redundant but that coil is upside down. It creates a choke point (bottleneck) with the coil directly on top of the airhole.
ideally you want the coil positioned just above the neg posts.
