Kanger tank airflow not right?

Not exactly sure I'm not getting clouds, the only thing i can point to is the airflow looks semi closed as you can see in the picture, i just got this kanger subox mini kit yesterday. I know its not external I'm not that much of a noob, is it an internal problem, or is that just how it is? I'm pretty sure full open wide airflow means exactly what it says... should i return to the shop and tell them to fix it?

Could something be blocking off the airflow inside? Have you disassembled the tank to check it? The airflow ring should move and adjust easily.

From that angle, it looks like the inside slot isn't cut big enough. Mine's wide open right now and looks wider than that. Huge clouds, awesome flavor.
If you can't adjust to make it more open, I think I'd have someone look at it.

Glad you mentioned that Teresa!
You see I just ordered the subtank mini this morning and thought about canceling it after reading the OP about tight airflow... Whew! I'm a lung hitter mostly and need all the airflow I can get..thx

I got mine yesterday, a late birthday gift from the hubby. :) But I'll tell you that I was wondering about this little gem while using the stock coil, the .5 that's pre-installed in the tank. Wasn't getting near the flavor or "umph" I'm accustomed to in my Kanger sub tanks. But this evening I wicked the rba and took it for a ride, and OH, what a difference! One of the best tanks I've ever used, really loving it!

I've got a Provari V2.5 that's been sitting on the shelf ever since getting a couple high powered box mods.. Thought the Mini with the newer 1.5 ohm vertical coil head might work out. still like my subtanks with the wide open airflow..will see how it goes..lol

Not as big a fan of the OCCs as I used to be. And I'm not so sure about the verticals, I'm just not getting the performance I'd like from the one I've used. Only good thing I can see is that the air holes (Not thinking of the word I need here...blonde moment...lol!) on the coil itself are much larger than the others.

Sweet Vapes states the vertical 1.5 ohm coils are new from Kanger..one is included in the box..and if it don't work out I can build the RDA deck...as long as it has decent airflow..

Is there anywhere u can post a HQ picture of your airflow at the max setting so i see what it looks like inside? I'm pretty upset i hope i didn't get a faulty unit. thank you

I am not sure if this is clear enough picture but you can't pretty much see right through the other side

To me that's to much air, each Vapor has different levels so what's right with me could not work for you

If you have a local shop I would go their so they can show you in person, also if you blow a couple of quick blows in the tank it will equalize the air it the tank.
