Ok so been vaping for a year now I have a decent selection of vape supplies and now I'm really stumped. I will probably just google it but I seriously seriously doubt it solves any of the problems.

I have a genitank - eleaf 10watt, eGo ONE, and now I have just recently begin to look at my EVOD2 again. I like have this wanna puke allergy with PG so it sucks being that I'm a MTLer, but I do have some 1 ohm coils that work and that's how I found out I may like my EVOD2's afterall. I have 2 of them they came in 1 starter kit a combo of sorts. Ok, like, I used to have the 1.5 ohm coils in there it came with a pack of 5 of them too. But I just tried the 1 ohm coils, the ones I use for my other MTL devices, and the coil pack says it can work with the EVOD2. But I tried it with the 1.0 ohm coil and idk but why it's not working. I thought it might not be charged up. So it's charging now. But I charged it up for like 10 minutes earlier and still nothing. I'm afraid its because it's the 1.0 ohm coil won't work in it. But like I said it said that it can use it with the EVOD2.

What's the problem? My thing blinked 3 times. Does it really not run 1.0 ohms? Kanger tech--- you created a useless product with the evod2. That thing, even with the 1.5 ohm coils, produces ZERO vapor. You litterally need to have a severe heart problem, and ONLY THAT, to be interested in getting this pos device. THANKS A LOT KANGERTECH.

Sorry to hear that JB... I never wasted my money on evod anything, I knew they were junk even as a newbie 4yrs ago..
Live and learn I guess is the best advise I can think of at this time..and get a better battery, or a real mod..take care

I honestly don't know what it is, but I'm going to call my local vape shop again. They didn't answer the first time. They'll probably be stumped too. Oh and no results from google.

I have never had a problem with Kanger other than a tank that always had a burnt taste. All the others worked great. I would say it may be the 1 ohm a lot of the smaller units won't do a 1 ohm so you may have to use 1,5 and up.

That's what I was just thinking

I think a lot of the older ego type batteries had a 4 amp limit or so. 1 ohm coil would just put you over that limit at 4.2v. I destroyed a few cheap egos from fasttech taking the ohms too low. I'd guess you're actually running into a safety feature that limits your amps. Meaning your evod > the cheap egos I used to get from fasttech.

Yep you are over pushing it.
Learn to rebuild em, they are a pain in the ass and take to 1.2 and above.

Hey guys alittle off the subject. But I recently got a topbox mini and the user manual and a couple of review videos I watched says it can do tc with kanthal wire, based on NiChrome, parameters. Im running the rba deck it came with and a .5 Clapton coil. And as im vaping I notice the way its limiting the temp. Is by cutting back on power as it approaches your temp. My question is. Can kanthal really be used with the same tc settings as NiChrome
