Anyone seen or tried these new ssocc v2 coils?
Kanger's horizontal occ coil was never known for its reliable wicking or longevity but the flavor was great compared to other prebuilt coils of the time. Then they went vertical and the first ones I tried were bland and muted but they seemed to have fixed em after a batch or two and they were great. Lasted a week or so, tasted good, and wicked reliably. Then these little bitty round coils come out with the Nebox. After going through a box or two I can safely say they are terrible! While they work they are fine, but they burn out in as little as 2 days with some. I'm guessing it's the minimal amount of cotton but it's damn unacceptable! And I always break my coils in and all that jazz.
Now after a short run of these ssocc duds kanger drops these new slightly fatter yet still round ssocc coils. I'm guessing they realized they blew it with the tiny ssocc and increased the cotton content for the sake of lifespan. I just picked one up to try and it seems great one day in. What's up with the little third wicking hole though? Two big wick holes and tiny third one. It seems to only bubble from that tiny third hole when wicking also.
Anyone else find these ssocc as crumby as I? I highly recommend trying to find these new ones as they seems to be the fix, time will tell tho....
