FastTech will probably have them soon. But for now you may be stuck with those pre-manufactured coils.

Be sure to get the right one because the Original 25mm Subtank RBA deck is different than the 22mm Subtank Mini. I see only the 25mm Subtank RBA for $4.03 at Fastech. When they come back from the CNY they will probably post the 22mm Subtank Mini RBA deck.

My RBA is a nightmare. I've wicked it 6 ways to Sunday (and recoiled), and it's dry hit city no matter what watts setting I use. I use 80pg, so it's not the juice. I have the version with the clear insulators and fully cut channels, but obviously the channels just aren't quite deep enough to allow wicking. I've heard about other people with this issue - one in particular who bought two from the same place at the same time, and one deck was fine while the other had this problem. Perhaps inconsistencies with the channels?

The few times I've tried to rebuild wife's subtank mini RDA section I'm not having much luck either. The juice channels seem too small no matter how I wick it. I get maybe 2 decent pulls before the nasty dry hit. I'm going to try and gently file out those juice channels a little bit and see if that helps. If not I guess we buy her the OCC coils, I really don't want to have to fiddlefuck with that RDA section too much.

you say your using 80 pg you should do this the other way round and use 80 vg and follow the diagram on how to wick in the box it came with i had same problem now mine is tasting as sweet as but it does take a bit of playing around to get it right just watch someone on you tube shows the correct way to wick the rba.

I'm sensitive to VG, so I can't vape high VG. The issue is with the RBA - I have another one that works perfectly with the same wicking. Some of them have poor machining in the channels! Also since it's easier to wick with high PG than with high VG, the issue is clearly not with the juice!

The supplier is sending me a new RBA. Don't give up if yours is not working properly - I've started to file out the channels on the bad one, and it's getting better. The RBA on the new subtank works beautifully!

just do like i did take it all apart and use a mini dremil drill with the tiney cutting discs and cut the groves a little wider and deeper mine now vapes like a dream best flavour i have ever tasted and make sure you juice has at least 70%vg in it.

DId you not read my post about the VG? LOL Also, please don't give out incorrect information about wicking and VG....

And, as I mentioned, I've started filing out the channels in the other one, and it's improving.

I got mini last week and already have the 25mm subtank too, not had wicking problems with either using 50/50 juice, I am using japanese cotton and cut it so it only just touches the deck, once put chimney on, I make sure to push the cotton away from the juice channels.

Why do you keep recommending thicker juice as a solution to poor wicking? Are you high?

I'm happy to report that I picked up a second subtank mini for myself this weekend and the RBA section is working just fine on this one. Like was mentioned previously it could just be the machining on them. I didn't do a side by side comparison of the channels but this second one is working great compared to the struggles with the first one. I generally vape 50/50 liquid and two tanks in I have yet to have a dry hit at 40 watts, .6 ohms. First one I ordered online, the second one I picked up in a B&M.

im not recmmending thicker juice for poor wicking as most people know pg is thinner than vg im using 70 vg 30 pg as it gives me a smother vape im stating what works for me i get loads of flavour out of mine as well as tones of clouds its each to their own no one said you have to take my advice i was given this advice by a top reivewer and as mine is vaping 100% sweet as for me. so dont much care for any one elses opinion you vape what ever you like

I bought a completely different one. The first one I bought online and the second one I bought at a storefront. I'm not going to bother Kangertech with this issue, the time and hassle isn't worth my time. My wife prefers the OCC heads anyways, so we have one in RBA mode and the other in just regular mode and all is well.
