Kangertech Subox Mini problem

Got a great deal on the Subox Mini a few days ago and had very little problems with it. Coming from the ijust2, it just doesn't vape as well [for me].

This is the first box I've had that I can control the wattage and I believe this is where my problem is. It came with a .5 coil but i also purchased a .3 Clapton coil.

Depending where I put the wattage, I get flavor and no cloud and other times I get cloud but a burnt taste. I primed a brand new .5 coil this morning and didn't get the burnt taste until vaping upwards of 30w.

May I get some suggestions from anyone who's used this setup before?

Are you sure this is a clapton coil? The only kanger clapton coils I have (and have seen) are .5, which I run around 39 watts. Is it an authentic coil, I wonder?

She had suggested these because she was out of Kanger ones. I put the .3 back in and took different pulls at each wattage. Im at 44w now and it seems to be back to normal.

Thanks for the help
