Kayfun vs Aero Tank

Ok, So I have a ZNA "clone" coming in, (yea-yea, I know that's a whole other topic) and I can't decide on what to put on top.
I have Kayfun's now, actually have 4 and a Nautilus but want something special on the clone.
I really like the Kayfun's , for ease of use, amount of juice and the way it looks. Even though it feels top heavy to me.
The Nautilus is ok, not a real game changer in my humble opinion.
So my question is, if you have both a Kayfun and an Aero Tank, which do you prefer and why?

I'm currently deciding between these two, so I'm interested in input as well. Great thread, Johnny.

really like looking at apples and lemons. two types of tanks with really different choices. Both are good but used for different reasons. If you can rebuild, the Kayfun is good, but if you want to just pour and vape go with the other. The Nautilus is the easiest to use but the Kayfun if built right has the better flavor.

I have both and its like, to each his own . The kayfun is very easy to build , even if you are just starting , if its not "just like the picture " it will still work ok .
Aerotank , well its a tank that works ok . My problem with the kayfun ( not a real problem ) is that I have put 20 different coils in it and sometimes
no matter what , its hard on my throat . But , I think its just me . For me the kayfun is an easier build than rebuilding the aerotank coil and in that case I
can always just go buy a coil . Flavor wise--- the kayfun .

I don't have a kayfun or any other rebuildable tank yet. But after using my aerotank for the last 2 weeks at work, I can say it is worth it. With a rebuilt coil, probably even better, I'll find out later. Heavy duty, looks good with SS tank, minimal leaking, good airflow. At the same time, numbers don't lie. A lot of people like their kayfun or similar style. Exactly why, I don't know, but hopefully will soon.

They are both great for different purposes I always keep a Aerotank on one mod I really like the 1.5ohm coils I have not rebuilt any of the Aerotank coils for vape and go I wish that Aspire would come out for some sub-ohm coils that Zna would really rock... To really use the power of the ZNA I would say get a Kanger tank and the .8 subohm coils just a great no hassle vape

Kayfun all the way. I tried the Aspire with the new BVC coil, the latest mega from kanger with their newest coil. My kayfuns out preform those two In all three categories, Vapor, throat hit and flavor.
If you have never built a kayfun don't worry. If you can tie your shoes, you can learn to build a coil.
You just need some simple tools and supplies, Assorted drill bit sizes, Ohm meter and a torch. Wick material and Kanthal A1,your choice of size. 28 gauge is a good one to learn on and vapes well.

Thanks for all the response that everyone have given. I feel that I may need to elaborate a little on myself.
I'm coming up on my 2 year anniversary of being smoke free. I have 4 kayfun's at the moment, so I am not a novice as to rebuilding coils. Don't get me wrong, I really like the kayfun's, for vapor production, throat hit and flavor. The Nautilus is ok to me. Right now it has a 1.6 ohm on it. And I do know that there is a .8ohm coil coming out for it.
Flavor and throat hit are the biggest things I look for, the amount of vapor produced is secondary, to me that is. But even that is changing as I just purchased my first RDA for my 30 watt box mod. I'm still getting use to it but have to say that it is giving me a good first impression. I know it's not going to be my first choice as to what mod I'm using. I like the idea of filling a mod once or twice a day not 5 or 6 times in an hour.
Guess I'm just going to have to see how the Aero looks and feels.
Again , thanks for all the comments. This is one of the reasons I like vaping, if you have a question, you can always get the answer you seek. Maybe not the one you were hoping for but at least you can get enough information to form your own opinion.

Myself, I prefer the Kayfun. One advantage to an Aerotank style is in the event of a burnt wick or coil. All you do is pop a new one in ( as long as you carry a spare ).

So there it is again. Another person getting a great use from the Aerotank. No flooding issues for you? I.e. if you leave it sit for a while?

Now I'm thinking of digging out the Aerotank and filling it up and use for the day.

If you taylor your build and power to your juice, the Kayfun is the go to RBA, period.
Let the discussions begin!

I guess it depends on if you are rebuilding the aerotank heads or not.. if not, the KF will always trump a kanger product..

I've had minimal flooding, gurgle every now and then. Usually after a refill, and it clears up after some use. When I get home from work, it sits untouched until morning. When at work, it may go an hour sitting.

I have 4 of the AeroTanks (two reg, one mini, and one mega) and I have never had gurgle issues with them. Now I do not rebuild the coils....I just buy them, pop it in, pour in the juice, and zip out the door. So I don't know if leaking is a builder thingy with them, but the ones that are straight up work fine for me and my buds.

This is what I really like about vaping, so many people, so many different thoughts and so many ways to interpret the information. Looks like I may just have to grab an aero and go from there. It may just wind up in my junk drawer along with all the "next great mod" to come out.

The Kayfun, to me at least, is leaps and bounds above anything Kanger puts out
