Kennedy V2 and Comp: Authentic vs Clone

Im sorry to ask this, ive tried searching the forum and couldnt find my answer. I also dont have pics yet (always think of this stuff at work).

But my question is, a few months ago I purchased a Kennedy Comp (Stainless) and a Kennedy V2 (black). I was told they were authentic. I was pretty new at all the gear and hadnt reasearched the prices.. but it seems either the prices were good for auth. or really bad for clones..

either way.. i dont realy care for either, and want to trade them off. But before i do i need to try and make sure what im trading so i can be honest about it. Actually im going to keep the Comp and trade the V2.

My question is, is there a give away on the clones? certain color O ring or marking or something on the posts maybe? Ive googled it and cant seem to find an answer nor by looking at pics of both. I did notice on one of the clone Comps that i found there was no USA marking on the bottom.. but im unsure if thats on all or just a one off.

I think the guys i bought from are pretty trust worthy, but i really just want to be sure.

Does it have serial numbers it?

If it is authentic it should have a number engraved in the bottom. You can go check that serial number and find out if it is authentic.

Ok.. i saw that in pics. but i also saw one clone that in the pic at least. showed a serial number on the bottom.. ill check mine. thanks

Had my Girl check.. both have full serial numbers.. so im guessing authentic.. ill get some pics up later today. thanks for the help

Kennedy's are known for their impeccable build quality as well as the quality of the materials used.

Serial numbers can be faked, but the build quality can't.
