I just got my first TC mod - the Koopor Plus, and am having some difficulty with setting up the TC with the SS coils I have.
The initial SS coefficient, which was 0.00105, I feel didn't read the temp very accurately. I put my Crown tank with a .25 coil on, set the initial coil resistance, set the temp to 300f, set the strength to normal, and fired it. The highest I saw the temp go was less than 200f. I tinkered with lowering the coefficient to 0.00100 with similar results. I then read on a Reddit post the people were using 0.00094 as a coefficient with success so I set it to that; about the same thing. At 0.00094 it would pretty much only temp protect if I set it as low as it goes, which is 200f.
I then read that people were having success with their coefficient set at 0.00075 so I set it there. I can now get it to temp protect at 240f at normal strength, but if I set it higher it doesn't do anything. The highest temperature I've gotten in 'norm' has been 244f.
I just set it to 'hard' with coefficients between 0.00060 and 0.00120 and can get it to temp protect at 230-240f, but I still get the feeling that something isn't right.
At the 'hard' strength I get a pretty hot vape, but still get temperatures between 160-200f at the end of my 4-5s long puff.
I realize that there are several things I don't understand about this, and that TC is a whole different beast than power, but nobody has a "this is the coefficient I use and that works with my Koopor Plus when I use SS coils".
Either that or I need to get some other TC material coils...
Any recommendations
