Koopor Primus 300W Triple 18650 Regulated Box Mod and my friend's generous sharing this afternoon.

I might have mentioned the Koopor Primus 300W Triple cell box mod and how it's $54.99 on some sites and was taking a leap of faith given the poor SMoktech mod track record, but Smoktech emialed me that there won't be any firmware updates which will require a vendor[s assistance like the Kooper Plus did due to tremdous negative feedback by users around the world and also in such large amounts of users. The fact that so many of the devices sold was enough to take the consumer's angry, albeit future mod sale dependent "adivice" as serious as a heart attack to put it in my own terms. The Updates on the Koopor Primus 300W are already ready for my Windows 10 PC to download via a usb cable and users with the newest firmware version are swearing I should, me personally, just buy the Koopor Primus and forget the Sigelei 213 mods and H-Priv (which is a but too small and not as attractive as the slightly copper tinted stainless steel color Koopor Primus since I already buy 3 18650s each time I order (because I own an RX200S), and will be charging with an XTAR VC4 in a day when it hits the mailbox. I love the 4-5 simple names for the ramp up output modes in the corner and the dots which light up the appropriate number depending on vape "blast" power option as I call it, and that along with all three cells running parallel, my personal love for the original Koopor Mimi 60W device design in the Stainless Steel color with vents which provided enough of a grip was one of the most attractive mods I've ever had in my opinion which isn't a commonly shared opinion. Regardless my buddy spend 80 bucks on it at the local store because he's a millionaire which is irrelevant but might shed light on our obsessive purchasing of similar mods every week...so I have reached 200W with HB4s which have 4800mAH total in this mod since they're three pararllel cells, 30amps and great lasting voltage and all that stuff that drops off in batteries often times too soon, HB4s don't drop off as at all if I didn't know better. I usually swap or recharge cells at 37% remaining life so it's aweomse mod and TVT8 Cloud Beast V8-T8 coils are nice but I picked up a single V8-T6 which is my favorite and I gave the octuplet coil to my buddy because he even said what I knew it would be...too hot at the wattage needed to produce enough vapor and flavor worth our time. I like the cooler vaping at high wattage similar to the TFV4's TF-T3 Triple coil at .2ohms which I used 90W with back in the day. The clouds were exactly as insanely i,mpressiive with the most tasty Kanthal coils I've used. !60W mods should reach no problemo with LG HD4 25 amp 2100 mAH but total of 6300 mAH on this mod or LG HB4s at total of 4800mAH. The HB2s Mooch said "drop off and aren't at powerfulin general and HB6s are very nice for the first half of the charge but aren't for my ohms law calculation I did today. Those are 32-33amps continuous in fact so I think those HD4s which are the newest LG cells for sale are plenty since Mooch says they are at the very least as good as Sony VTC4s and only the HD2C 20amp 2000mAH cells definitely BEAT OUT the VTC4s but I feel safe vaping 200W with VTC4s. I wanna try each of the 18650s since I bought them all (LG's latest releases) and see if the HD4 cells with the highest mAH (2100mAH but times three in the Kooper Primus...6300mAH) and ennough lasting voltage from the full charge to last a long time in that mod vaping high wattage coils with high resistances plus I'm a chain vaping nutjob so things are looking great. I wonder who and how soon that person or people will challenge my 100% certainty of the Koopor PRimus working JUST as I described it. No mistakes, no memory issues, no benzo forgetfullness side effects as most times, nothing wrong with my praise for the mod. And if the future updates cause issues, I'll just reinstall the current software I used today on my buddy's machine. If it works good now I'll keep it this way and not risk bricking or glitches.

I've read your post twice and I am uncertain if you had a question in there or not.
BUT, I also have the Primus.
I got the Silver one.
Would have preferred the black one but it wasn't available when I ordered.
It does indeed work well.
I have no complaints about the mod except the battery cover.
I'd prefer it be a little more secure.
It has NOT fallen off or anything, it's just not as snug as I'd personally prefer.
I like the H-Priv better simply due to the smaller size, weight, and fire button.
Not saying one is better than the other, I like them both.
Then again, I like all 4 of my Sigelei Fuchai 213 as well.
I've just been drawn to the H-Priv.
Probably for the same reason I used the Istick TC100 as much as I did/do.
I think it's all about the size, weight, and fire button.

Do you think the Sigelei 213, assuming you use the original expensive model and not Fuchai, is better than the Kooper PRimus?

Unfortunately I cannot answer that because I only have the Fuchai.
Sigelei really made a mess because they have the Sigelei 200, Sigelei Fuchai 200, and the Sigelei Fuchai 213.
I use all 4 color options of the Sigelei Fuchai 213, my wife also has one as well as my daughter.
Based on the usage of the Sigelei Fuchai 213 that I have, I think the Primus is a better mod with a better chip.
However I like the fit/form of the Sigelei Fuchai 213 better for daily use.
But the Primus is by far a more stable mod.

That's the best thing I've heard all day. I've used i for 3 hours but hope ownership is something I will not regret after dealing with Siglei Fuchai 213, H-Priv which is a blaster but still doesn't cover all the bases I need to Enjoy the TFV8 and current and future mods which are already intense to the point of needing the safety or feeling of capability the Primus can offer me and not worry about mods rated 200W and barely making such a low power output that I'm moving on to triple battery mods which are apparently treating me well so far. Take car, friend.

I got the PRimus today in my hand with the TFV8 and it's great. LG HD4 2100mAH 25amp batteries running parallel in a set of three. so I get about 6300mAH total. The Hpriv is clicky noisy though and I like the Sci-Fi look of the Koopor Primus. The door isn't an issue it's like the Koopor Mini I had over a year ago wow yeah long ago lol. It stays in place. Kinda heavy but hits hard which is why I hate the RX200S and love the idea of the options of soft-hard hitting vapes. Plus if I use LG HB4s for the V8-T8 coil which I swapped out for the quadruple one included with the tank, at the wattage I like and it's too high for 40% of charge left on the cells, it's not good. The triple parallel running batteries are awesome. I know to monitor the voltage but my VC4 doesn't charge past 4.2v per cell. Honestly I got 3 new VTC4s and they aren't as good as the LG HD4s I can tell and Mooch has proven this as well. I bought them just because. HD2Cs aren't up to my standards, HD2s are not too bad but the HD4s are the newest addition to LG's catalog and I don't think there's much need for a battery more powerful than one that blows a VTC4 out of the water. They're actually only 23amps continuous and 2000mAH. HD4s are 2100 or greater mAH with 25-26amps that don't drop off. LG HB4s are 30-31amps and 1600mAH according to Mooch and overall are the better choice of HB series batteries by LG. HB2s are NOT 30amps BTW. HB6s are 32-33amps and barely 1500mAH , barely with a huge drop in voltage and extra power way too quickly. The HD4s are only one week on the market. imrbatteries.com has them for $5.50 each. They rock. 54.99 for the Primus was a steal even though the Xcube Ultra has began shipping to vendors and will be widely available any day now. I'm not into the app features and it's too small plus dual battery only. I like the 3 cell mod sizes. I don't vape outside my condo. I smoke Cigars socially or on long drives to Queens from Suffolk County Long Island, in my WRX Subaru I just got used. They are cheap used. off topic ok. yeah I was asking about the battery hatch issue. It's same as all the Koopor mods as far as I remember. Love the look and feel of the metal and stainless steel tone version. Other mods I own are usually Black. I can't get blue ones because where I am, outside my small safer but segregated village township there are Bloods and other gangs that will shoot young adults wearing a blue outfit. So I avoid the color just because of the silly worry i might be seen by a gang street gang member. Red and black are cool but so is Stainless Steel. Get the Koopor Primus. There are no issues and all that is best is simply to update the firmware on Windows. Everybody loves it but some hate the battery door. lol

Absolutely a great mod. for the price I think it's the best choice. And I get 6300mAH from Sony VTC4s or LG HD4s. RX200 mods can't do that. And RX200 mods are soft hitting with slow as hell ramp up speed. I am appalled by this.

I think it's safe to say the slow ramp up and soft hitting is all in your head.

The Primus has the cells in series not parallel. Even though they are physically oriented in parallel, the PCB has them electrically wired in series. The mod circuit uses a 12V input!

And it's great! Unlike the 213 it delivers over 95% of rated output in a fairly narrow range of resistance, but nonetheless it delivers a punch!

If you vape around 50-120W on the 213 with VV only, it's great because the battery life is really good. That's the only benefit to using the 213 IMHO.

With adjustable TCR on the Primus, TC is quite decent and won't misfire or burn out your wicks.

Be sure to upgrade to the latest firmware however. The version before has a noticeable delay when firing.
