I rewrapped a 3mm into a 4mm ohming at 0.3ohms. Coil type: Fused Clapton Coil 26ga*3 (Paralleled) (KA1)+36ga(N80),

The Ammit is great in single mode with the coil blocker but the Kylin isn't great. Any suggestions as to optimizing the Kylin in single?

Just curious you have both ammit and kylin? I have the Ammit and was thinking of getting the kylin as well but not sure if my money would be better spent on an rdta since I don't own one.

There's not much difference between the two which are basically built the same and do the same job. Go for an RDTA for a different kind of vape. You can get sick of vaping the big dual decks rta's easily

Ive heard some folks on the other big forum that have both tanks and something they adjusted with the Kylin and they got a perfect vape. I want to say they finalized the build with a 3mm and something about how they positioned the coil differently with airflow. I'm not an expert but if the taste isn't there on a coil you have proven to yourself you like, look at airflow and adjustment of the coil. I've still heard more people prefer the Kylin over the later. I guess it's like Ford vs Chevy

I saw a side by side comparison between the kylin and the ammit and the one main thing that stuck out to me was the kylin had a beefier oring where the glass goes on the base. With the ammit, you take the whole top off to fill around the glass and it had a wimpy oring that would allow the glass to be knocked off the base if you're not really careful with it.

Another thing about the ammit was a fairly loud whistle if you close the airflow down close to half way. It seems the kylin has a better designed airflow.

Other than those 2 things it appears they're both great tanks.

This my first rta I switched from a mutation v4 RDA to avacado 24 bottom airflow to the kylin full open air is too much n I like air flow there is no whistling at 3/4 or 1/4 air flow my only bummer is that the air flow is lil tight n really close to juice flow n my big Bear paws have to remove the the Atty to adjust the airflow so I leave it 3/4 lol n the single triple parallel coil ni80 24g I posted above ohm at .15 can comfortably vape at 95-100 watts anything higher it's too hot, took about 6 hours to finally get flavor back n loose that nichrome new coil taste

I'm curious how you like the triple parallel coil setup. What kind of vape would you describe it as other than what you said. It intrigued me because you don't hear the triple parallel said to much

Well it started as a quad but I got rx300 so one it was a true fight to get the quad in the kylin but it ohmed out at .08 and was already at 4 wraps so I removed a strand n made it a triple that ohm at .15 i had dual quad twisted ka1 by coilmasters the pair ohmed at .11 this my first attempt with ni80 n a parallel coil lots of surface area lots of flavor lots of vapor after that initial new coil break in point I like it was wanting a dual quad parallel but to acheive that I'll need 30 or 28 g ni80 but going for ss316L for next coil build

Warm n dense at a lower temp that other set for the same kind of vape needed 115-125 watts n the 125 was scorchin the house juice I got was able to increase ohms decrease watts n have same vapor n cloud production n didn't lose any flavor
