Saw a Lemo V1 in a local shop yesterday for $9.99. Should I go back and pick it up for that price? Its the huge single coil one that looks a bit like a Kayfun.

So Huck... I did pick up a Lemo V1 for $9.99. First thought was to ditch and rebuild because it had a redamndiculous coil in it. But I soon discovered its damn near impossible to get much lower than 1 ohm in this thing. I did manage to get a .99 build in and am pretty shocked at the amount of vapor at 22w. The taste is...meh....ok. Not fantastic... Not terrible. Still figuring things out.

I got mine from a member here, it had a .8 build in it at the time. I think he used 26g kanthal. It vaped great. I've been using 28, the biggest I have. I get plenty of flavor with a 1 ohm, BUT, I'm a higher PG vaper. I hope you get it performing where you enjoy it more. I still think $10 is tough to pass up. Please don't hate me, LOL.

Oh not at all. I'm kicking myself for not getting one a year ago. Rofl. I'm no wattage snob. I'll build and vape at whatever produces and tastes good. I ended just saying screw it and bent around and locked down under the screws. I wasn't digging the whole right angle thing. So 26g and 7 wraps I think is what I settled on... 3mm. I'll continue trying to get better taste. Pretty sure now I need to do more spacing in the coils. More surface area.

I used a 2.4mm and a spaced coil (Ithink). I had a little trouble with the wicking, but finally got it. I also used the screws, lol.

I've got it wicking WELL! Like I'm sitting here vaping away... chaining a bit and its keeping up. I need to find a Drop now. Lol

I used Muji for the wick and as I'm sitting here vaping on it the taste is getting better. So may just need to break it in a bit.

Ahhh, yeah. I'm a rayon fan, I always forget about that. I do hear really good things about Muji, though.

Well another part of the puzzle is that I have a 70vg really subtle tasting graham cracker/coconut /almond juice in it. Great tasty juice to drip.

Nah. I got it from a local shop. It's one of their many house juices. Certainly one of their top 5. It's called Mad Rabbit and is a long time fave. 50 mils are half price on Wednesday... So like $10. Place is called Vaperite and they have a website. But I don't think they do their specials through the site.
