INW Lemon Cake seems very popular, this is the first mix for me it has worked in though. To me it tastes like the outside crust of a lemon cake and always struggle with the percentage under 1% I dont notice it and much higher it seems a bit harsh and to me.
Creamy sponge cake of labyrinth seems to soften it a bit and also bring more the white cake middle that I have been missing in previous mixes. The sicily and custard are obviously there to bring out more of a lemon flavour and the sugar cookie and doughnut for a bit more bite and sugar sweet taste to the crust. I have no idea about the marzipan....i just like it
