LG Batteries

Ok....Hi everyone...I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer for.

Can anyone tell me the difference between LGHE2 and LGHE4 batteries other than one looks like a misshapen banana? I've been combing the web and looking and graphs and spec sheets and they look like LG just decided to slap a coat of paint on the wheel and say the reinvented it.

Is there something I am missing here? I've been looking to see if this was asked in another thread and haven't found one so far so sorry if the answer is in here and I have missed it.

And thanks for any help on satisfying my OCD on this one

HE2 has higher max discharge rate... mAh seems the same.

I thought there were the same...all the spec sheets I've read on them say they are both 20 amp continuous/ 30 amp pulse discharge....supposedly I read a rumor on reddit that one has a lower internal resistance but they're both listed as =/< 20 mohm

so I was wondering if there was some other gossip about them.

H2 has a pulse limit of 35.

I just found the datasheets on both of them and Vapor DNA's site says they're both 35 amp max...I don't know. I thank you for answering but I think I am chasing a white rabbit. I'll attach the data sheets if you're interested...I just don't understand why LG would release the same battery with two different numbers....international marketing/separation? Conspiritest plot to drive me mad? who knows...but thanks for putting up with my crazy on this one

I don't either....and I wasn't trying to say "you're wrong" or anything negitive so please don't misunderstand me....it's just one of those things my brain decided to OCD on...sometimes I think the guys at big corporations do stuff like this just to screw with my head...yes, just my head personally

I thought the HE4s were a replacement/newer version of the HE2s.

Much like the Panny ncr18650pf are the replacement for the ncr18650pd

probably all there is too it...i just remember they replaced the PD with the PF it had to do with stability or something like that....they had an explaination to make us all feel "safer"

Supposedly the HE4 doesn't heat up as much under heavy load. Presumably in whatever OEM or industrial application it was actually intended for. Other than that spec's are pretty much identical.
