There is no more liberal and powerful cartel than the Ca. state legislature. 
California is a one party state an Orwellian nightmere,and like the facist of the 1930's the pinhead democrats who support this Orwellian mightmere are so convinced of their moral superiority, so filled with a mindless religous like zeal, that they have murdered liberty,and freedom, stomped on the rights of other people. The science and reality are ignored while these sheep march on in the borg like groupthink toward the NEW DAWN..and their jackboots march over ..a billion lives...Mexifornia is a blight on the soul of America.
It's a beautiful state...but yeah without legal and illegal immigration the state would be bleeding people...there's been an exodus of Americans from the state.they see the writing on the wall, and are selilng their houses before the market goes south....outside of LA and SF it's an American state, but in those two cities American culture is dead. The DNC appeals to identity politics, and encourages balkanization of the population from America.
I know. I've been there a few times. There are plenty of beautiful places in this world where I couldn't bear to live.
I have a buddy who owns an electronic fab business, custom boards, electronics and such for audio, military, companies, et cetera. He moved his operations and manufacturing to Nevada after a tax official demanded to know the number of defective boards and components during the production runs, so they could be taxed as inventory, even if they were bad or defective. That's the bloody insanity of a socialist state run amok. Taxing defective components because they can. He was paying close to 2 mil a year for state authorized electronics recycling and getting taxed twice on it, once for the dead components, and then for recycling!! No wonder he moved his business.
