I too would be interested in a good recipe for Licorice and or what I could use to come up with my own recipe for this. Thanks!

Somewhere here is one with that name that I'll bet is great: https://gumroad.com/hic
I don't see it there first glance, but I've seen it before, so if you don't find it, try msging its creator, HeadInClouds.

I have Flavor West Licorice. One of my first ever flavor buys and I've never used it. I am a fan of sweet black licorice and love the salty kind so much I am considered borderline licorice-deviant. I thought I couldn't go wrong with this flavor but I forgot there is a kind I don't like--and this is that one. It smells of disappointment on Easter morning: a basket lined with (mostly) black jelly beans. (yeah, it turns out "The Easter Bunny" loves them.) Don't worry if you feel the same--hic's allsorts recipe probably uses fa licorice/anise.

ohhh, @lirruping - you'd like this one: http://vapingunderground.com/thread...tek-reviews-by-wllmc.42991/page-2#post-412547 FW Licorice is perfect black jelly beans (I'll take that reject Easter basket!), that German Flavors is very good salmiak, and FA Licorice is a dark licorice like some popular Australian brands. (FA flavors are perfect for allsorts!)

are you saying FW licorice tastes like black jelly beans? I love black jelly beans
Ill take that bottle off your hands

I think you and I are the only black jelly bean fans in the world. Yes, that's FW Licorice. I like all the other brands, too. The older ya get, the better dark licorice and dark chocolate taste. Or so I'm told.

I believe this to be true, since I've never been a fan of black licorice, or black jelly beans. But after reading about the FW one, I ordered it and quite liked the smell of it. I hear it's an age thing ;)

I haven't mixed with it yet, but based on smell, I'd say that one. FW.

If you cruise the drugstore candy aisle on the day after Easter you can usually find those bags of ALL BLACK jelly beans for 75% off. You might even run into my mom :D

Matt, my mom is a vaper so I guess I will hang onto it. I keep promising to make her a big batch of it...and I should really do that :/

You'll be glad to learn if you didn't know, though, that it usually costs less than 2 bucks for 10mls. Price is a major virtue of the brand!

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the salmiak! I used to gnaw on those candies while trying to quit cigarettes--I've heard licorice helps reduce nic cravings. Hard to say if it's true, but they definitely can give you a powerful sugar/salt rush. Some people go to Amsterdam to visit the coffeeshops or the red light district, but I was there for the salmiak.
