Liion Wholesale Order

Just curious if anyone has recently had any shipping issues when ordering through Liion Wholesale. I've placed only one order through there and they did pack and ship it quickly, however it appears to have left Philadelphia and the tracking data just drops off like the package vanished (estimated delivery date 7/2/15).

Now, I only ordered like $30 worth of batteries so in no means am I bitching about losing $30. I did message them over 24 hours ago asking if anyone else had reported their packages missing and I haven't heard a single word back at all.

Again just wondering if anyone else has recently had this problem as I'm needing to order batteries (again) and I was really diggin their prices but I don't want to fuck around with missing orders, its more the inconvenience than anything.

Funny u say that, have an order from them that got stuck in Philly for awhile too. Think Mr postman in pa is having issues right now, I have ordered from them before and got it in 3 days. I think they took an extra long holiday for the 4th or something. Usps was nice enough tho to show delayed on the tracking site. I will NEVER blame a vendor for the stupidity of our mail system. Once it's in the postman's hands, sometimes it can sit in one place for weeks before it moves. Good ole government.

Man nothing in Philly works correctly.. not even the cheese steak. It is the poster child of why brotherly love is a euphemism for fucking your fellow man, and not even getting a reach around.

I know right, being a Fed I know all too well how things go haha. Liion did their job as far as I'm concerned I just wanted to find out if this was an isolated incident or if others are experiencing this delay. I messaged them asking just that, not bitching or asking for a refund or anything and haven't heard a word, so I figured I would post this and see.

My guess is that it's either sitting in a cart that's been pushed off to the side and is being ignored, or it got tossed into a batch of parcel post mail. Either way, it should get to you eventually, just might take a couple of weeks. :(

I think the longest detour any of my mail has taken was a first class/airmail parcel shipped to a small township in France. It made it to Paris, then instead of moving onward to the township it came back to the states to NY, then back to France for delivery. So, it's not just USPS that's wonky

Once they ship it they are at the mercy of the carrier same as you. The carrier is who you should be contacting. If it's USPS the Customer Service link is right there on the tracking page. In general USPS says:

When can I expect my USPS® mail/package to arrive? Collapse FAQ question

To find delivery standards for your mail or package, including when you should contact customer service if you haven't received it, please check the chart below.

Mail Class
Delivery Standard Contact Customer Service After:
First-Class Mail®

Priority Mail® 1, 2, or 3 business days (not guaranteed)* 5 or more days from the date of mailing
Priority Mail Express™ 1 - 2 business days (with money-back guarantee)** Scheduled Delivery Date/Time Missed

It should read..

Delivery is when and if we feel like fucking getting it to you intact.
Fuck yo money since there is an entire division devoted to customer care... they cannot breathe, and think at the same time. Basically they sit on ass all day long focusing on breathing.

Oh ya for sure, I'm not trying to hold them accountable for the USPS being fuckups. I consider myself very lucky that in the almost 2 years of ordering vape stuff that I haven't had a package go missing or be delayed more than a day or two at most.

What I was more leaning towards was if there is some known shipping problem going on in or around Philadelphia that would dissuade me from reordering from that general area in the very near future.

I got an order from Cali to Oregon get routed to the toxic waste dump of the east... I mean Jersey. Still trying to unfuck my noodle about how it got fucked up to begin with.
Sad it actually affected me ordering from that vendor again.

That's exactly what I'm getting at, I just don't want the hassle of fuckin around chasing packages down from places I've never ordered from before (even though said missing package is not their fault). But if the shipping in the area is shite, then you're damn right it will affect me ordering from there in the future.

But it sounds like most everyone else has not had problems getting their orders from there, so I will probably chalk it up to being an isolated USPS fuck up. If the batteries show up awesome, if not whatever, grats to whoever ended up with them!

It happens when you only hire semi functional retards who submit resumes and applications in crayon.
Assuming they can even read or write.

(in no means am I disparaging people with special needs, I reserve the use of retarded for non special people who act accordingly. ie. the poster children of post birth abortions)

FWIW, my liionwholesale order got to me just fine, without any hiccups. Sorry that yours went astray.

And really its not a big deal by any means, again it was like $30 worth of product so its kinda like whatever. I have plenty of batteries which is no issue, buuuut I got a new mod and that gives me an excuse to get a couple new sets naw-mean. :) I just hate playing the waiting game, as most of us do. And living in shit town South Dakota we have zero proper vape shops (or any shops in general that sells this kind of battery, to my knowledge) or I would have probably just have purchased them locally.

Maybe this thread should be named something more like WTF USPS, instead of Liion Wholesale Order

Hey, somehow your email slipped through the cracks, really sorry about that! Normally we're much, much faster on the customer service ball but I just checked and the email system put your email into the wrong folder somehow. I'm glad you posted here so we noticed.

No one else reported packages missing, but USPS does do this every now and then where it goes to philadelphia and then gets engulfed in a giant cheesesteak (at least that's what I imagine happens). Especially since we totally dropped the ball on replying to you I'll just go ahead and send you out another package via priority mail, today. If you do get both (which is actually fairly likely when this happens, I'd say 80% chance but it might be a week or two) you can just send the extra back to me or buy it at a discount or something, we'll work it out :). I sent you an email with the tracking number.

Probably know this, but just in case - the easiest way to send back the extra one, if that's what happens, is to not open it and write "refused, return to sender". It might go on the slow boat for return trip, but no repackaging and no postage. As long as that won't confuse whoever receives the return and they don't end up refunding because of the return.

Edit to add - if you do that, put a slash through your own address so that the USPS wont try to route it back to you. Seen it happen.

Well.. um wow.. that's pretty damn awesome :) I will certainly work something out with you once they arrive or whatnot. I have no problem paying full price for the second batch, and by no means did I expect you to reissue the order. Thanks again!!

Jon is just like that, takes care of folks. My 2 battery orders so far have been very smooth, a little delayed on the last one, but as Jon pointed out probably ended up in a cheesesteak for awhile. There are a few mail voids it seems where stuff gets stuck for awhile, not just in China and I guess we can presumably add Philly to the list along with oompaloopa Florida.

I've bought all my batteries from Jon, and have never had any issues getting them in a timely manner. I have found that USPS seems to run behind on updating a lot. I'll show a package in Philly, and no updates until it's out for delivery here in GA. Liion Wholesale is top shelf all the way as you can see by how Jon's taking care of this! I wouldn't dream of buying from anyone else!

Jon definitely did me right on this even though they had zero obligation to do so. After reading multiple other USPS stories it sounds like I will end up with the original package eventually so I will for sure get these fine folks at Liion Wholesale taken care of for reissuing the order!

I'm just glad it took almost 2 years for an order to have a hiccup for me through USPS. Sounds like there's people with many many more issues in a way shorter amounts of time.

Big pass on that lol... I consider myself somewhat cheap but not cheap enough to order from slowtech or whatever the other ones are. :)

Since I have a lot of experience shipping USPS through philly I'd say this happens on maybe 1 out of 2000 orders. So it's not too horrible, I doubt it's any worse than anywhere else.

It does blow my mind how inefficient the post office is within southeast PA when shipping a short distance though. For example UPS ground will absolutely without a doubt get there next day anywhere in PA (or even NY or VA or most places in the northeast for that matter). USPS if I ship priority mail to my next door neighbor it'll take the same amount of time it takes to get to Los Angeles, which is 2 days (and even more frustratingly it seems like the ones shipping within PA are the most likely to get lost).
