Oh, your post said you cant paint it. Cool tho. Ive been thinking about getting a wrap for my RX, the plain black is starting to bore me.

Guitar body you say? I wanna see some pics! Im (re)building a guitar and totally stuck on the paint. Doing a quilt maple top in green with black outer burst and clear coat nitro lacquer, but I totally suck at it. In fact, its been sitting in my closet for months after just doing the back and sides in black because its really orange peely and I cant get the sanding right to smooth it out.

When and if you paint it unscrew the face plate and then gently push the screen out from the back its only stuck on with adhesive then you can paint it better when your done just re apply screen.

I was using paint as something most would understand.. as difficult as it can be to do burst by staining (|Dye) I would pursue this.. What I really want to learn and master is French Polishing but that is another world that most hard core luthiers will not take on ...atleast on the electric side...
