Hey guys,

I've had this mod for a while and just decided to throw some batteries in her to try it out. I noticed my ohms were reading a little high ( 0.27 instead of 0.23 ) so I made sure the post screws were tight and it dropped back down to where it should be, but now it's reading the ohms at 9.99 until I quickly hit the fire button and it drops back down to 0.23. What's going on here?

RDA: The Troll V2
Coils: Pre Built 23g Kanthal
Mod: Limitless Box Mod

Cheers.

I just tried the troll on another mod and it's reading correctly so it's definitely not something to do with the RDA.

.27 vs .23 could just be the difference in accuracy of the 2 meters......

999 signifies a dead short to most mods. Could be issue with mods 510 connection or in the atty.

Check the 510 connections. For example, my smok stuff is always cantankerous on my wismec mods due to the short travel of the mod vs the long pin on the atty

I tried a different atty on it and it's still reading the ohms at 9.99 initially so it has to be something to do with the mod.

It's firing fine and working like it should so I'm not sure what's wrong. Perhaps it's resetting the resistance each time I turn the mod off?

Have you tried a different set of batteries?
Does that have a spring loaded 510 pin? If do make sure it not getting pushed sideways when you screw the mod. Does the 510 pin on the atty protrude from the 510.

I tried a different set of batteries and it still read the same. I've tried three atty's on it now with the same results. Two were protruding and one wasn't. Not too sure what's going on.
