Liquid Nicotine Questions

I've been DIY'ing for about 8 months now. I was of the opinion that nicotine is nicotine prior to starting down this path, I'm sure I'm not the only one there. Also as I'm sure others before me have discovered, that is not the case. I've been trying to sample nicotine from various sources so I have a couple of questions here. 1) I just placed my first order with VT for some of theirs due to the fact that many people here have spoken highly of it, but I was wondering if I should be concerned that it's been 2 days since I ordered and I haven't received a shipping confirmation yet? Is this typical? Also I read on one of the threads I've been browsing this evening that NicSelect supplies Ecig Express with their nicotine, is that correct? I went to look at the NicSelect website and didn't see them listed as a distributor of theirs so that confused me. Plus Ecig Express states that their nicotine is from a lab in Washington and NicSelect is based out of Texas. So you can understand my confusion on this matter.

I'm waiting on my VT nic as well... I ordered this past weekend and tracking is showing that it was picked up from them just before 1pm on Monday... I'm still waiting on it to arrive, but VT did well getting it out.

Its hard for me to say what's "normal" since this is my first order... just getting into DIY (i'm sure your remember those days lol!)
