Looking at starting DIY E Liquids

How's it going guys? So been vaping for 3 or 4 months now keep moving up in the mods now onto Subbing so was looking at ways of keeping the costs down as I know that there will be going threw alot more liquid than before! My problem though is alot of the suppliers that many people seem to get off here are American. I'm from Belfast so was wondering if there was any supplier people know if in the UK or Ireland? I've found a few on Google but they seem overly expensive compared to prices quoted in America. Also if anyone else had any tips, advice or guides for a total beginner I would highly appreciate it!

Welcome to VU.

Sorry I can't help much with UK suppliers but I believe we have some members that can help.

The best thing is to just read the forums. DIY can be fairly easy. Supplies are simple. PG, VG, a nicotine base, flavoring, a method to measure(syringes/scale) and something to mix into(I use the bottles I got from vendor juices). A good mixing calculator found online. And finally, a list of recommended flavor percentages for the brand of flavoring you get and look for recipes you might like.

Cheers guys! I'll have a look at them Huckleberrid thank you! When it comes to flavors is there any I am looking for in particular like do E Liquids have their own specially made flavorings or is it simply food flavoring?

These are concentrated flavorings. They are food safe, etc... But it's not like the extracts that you might pick up at a grocery store. Way more concentrated and usually made in a PG base, no oils, or gums.

Hi Belfast and welcome to V/u when you do start to mix always double check your calculations [especially on the nic] and start at low % of flavoring, you can always add more. Good luck to you on your mixing venture! hope this helps you.

I don't know anything about uk suppliers, but try the search box. Maybe use the term "uk supplier".

You could also ask a good local brick and motor shop. A good shop should be willing to give you acouple recomendations.

If not, the Google machine is good. Once you find acouple your interested in, come back to Vu and search by the supplier name. There should be some feedback somewhere here about acouple uk suppliers. I would be surprised if Vu doesn't have a topic about Atleast one supplier or someone doesn't chime in soon with a name.

Cheers guys I've used Google but everything seems so much more expensive than the prices I hear quoted on here by Americans. I know we have VAT but still seems very expensive. Also was making more of an introduction thread asking any advice anyone wanted to give.

No worries. Just make sure you do your research on a vendor before your first purchase. Or Atleast go small. Nothing is worse than spending a ton of money and you get bad quality.

I can say that FlavourArt and Inawera are quality flavorings. I wish I knew of others near you.
