in the market for a new mod and looking really hard at the snow wolf 200w but im also looking at the sigelei 150. currently have the sigelei 100w and love it and love how durable it has been. havent really been around much so not sure how much people have been talking about the snow wolf from quick glances its looking pretty good but not sure how the glass is with dropping which im prone to doing from around 2-3 foot range. anyone have any info on which will be better suit in a oil and drop prone life.

sounds good. dont really use nickle wire much would it be worth getting the temp control version and switching to nickle??
I don't like Ni, or Ti wire for TC. That's why I mentioned the DNA200. It can be programmed with a profile via software on a Windows machine, in order to do TC with SS wire. Currently, I'm using my upgraded VTC Mini to do just that. I'm waiting on my pre-ordered DNA200 mod.
I'm doing the same thing. I received some UD 316L SS yesterday and promptly made some coils for a Billow V2. I'm using it on DNA200 mods. Still trying out the different curves on steam engine, they have quite a few for the different grades of SS (just experimenting). After less than half a tank, I was left to wonder what took me so long to get some SS. Really quite impressed. No metallic taste at all, just plenty of flavor. When you really think about it, SS is the way to go. You can use it in TC or power mode. The only wire I know of that has that versatility.
PS I love my DNA200 mods. IMO they do TC better than any mods I've tried. Very smooth, not to mention with Escribe, you can adjust/customize like no other. If you don't want to go in that direction. I'd also suggest taking a look at an IPV3 LI. Nice dual 18650 mod, 200 watts, TC for both Ni200 and Ti1, and built like a tank (solid).

At this point between the DNA and yihi mods, I agree, if you're looking for tc you wont find better than a dna200. If you want just straight power(for kanthal)- an oklt20 mod like the hexohm is the best overall performer.
have never heard of that one been kinda in my own world last few months. not so much looking for power but using .22g kanthal takes alittle longer to heat up ( impatient bastard lol) but i have had my segelei for well over a year now and its time to retire it. will definatly look into the oklt20 and the ivp3

I run 9wraps of 22g at 3mm I'm dual coil on a indestructible atty. Normally around 4.5-5v and its and there is zero delay time.
Granted the mod didn't have a screen or buttons. It is just dual 18750s, variable voltage and a potentiometer to adjust the voltage. It does have a lifetime guarantee but other than that, ita kind of like the hot rod of vaping. No frills, just power.
wow that thing looks awesome too. going to be a hard choice but going on looks alone that thing wins hands down. thank you for the advise
and a side note what kind of atty are you using still stuck on the dragon that i bought about a year ago so far its been my go to. love the 4 post and the air flow thru it

I'm on the same hunt as yourself and narrowed it down to the same two mods; the Snow Wolf and Sigelei. After researching I've come to the conclusion that the Sig is the way to go. From what I read and watch on YouTube, the Snow Wolf's have had a whole host of issues and dealing with their warranty service seems to be a pain in the ass. As pretty as the SW is, it does not seem very durable considering it has a glass front and back. Also, from what I'm told (please correct me if I'm wrong) the Snow Wolf is not a true 200 watt device because of the power output of the 18650's it uses. The Sigelei on the other hand seems to be well built, feels great in the hand and uses a good chip. I've pretty much decided to go with the Sig but am still hesitant to pull the trigger as something newer and better is always right around the corner with this industry. For example...

yea im thinking the same thing. working in mechanics is not easy on anything you bring into the shop. thinking the sig as well cause the old one is still up to the challenge. but just found the sig at a stupid deal on traderjoes in the links here so may pull the trigger on it today want to say it was like 58-60 for the 150tc
kind of scared to use a sleeve i tend to leak juice and not sure if it will get under the sleeve and cause any issues down the road
I feel the same way about sleeves but still use one on my D2 as the paint job is shit. Would you mind posting a link to that deal?

I've also been looking at the Smoktech Koopor 200w, because It's $49 on Vapordna.com...BUT, I've never dealt with Smoktech, and am concerned with quality. Any advice on that?
I'm a big Sigelei fan....but not digging the aesthetics and physical design....hazards and flaws of their newer units. Both of those Sigeleis look to have potential problems with juice leaking into the unit, where the plates join up on top.
I also have a VERY curious and seemingly unanswerable question for you guys.... Why does the Sigelei Fuchai 200w unit always seem to be cheaper in price than the Sigelei 150w TC????? It doesn't make sense to me. If anybody can answer this riddle for me, it may help me out in my descision. And would be much appreciated.

I'm only guesstimating here, but I think its to make the next sig 200 look better. weird marketing move, they are about to drop the one that is in the same case as the snowolf but has a big full panel screen.
Ahh..I was actually wondering if it was a weird marketing move because of the new 200w unit coming out.... I also heard that the Fuchai (whatever that means..lol) was a 'Temporary' 200w Sigelei unit, to get something out until the new one hit the market.
Any clues or truth behind the rumor of liquid leaking into the unit on the Sigelei Fuchai 200w, that you guys know of??
Maybe they are taking a page out of Electronic manufactures playbook. Different quality of components and builds to meet different price points. EX: You can get a Sony receiver, JBL speakers, etc, from around $100 to $1000's. Seems like Wismec/Jaybo are doing the same thing.
