Looking for a good flavor-oriented atomizer

Hi there folks. I`m currently using a Limitless Plus RDTA as my main DL atomizer. Awesome clouds, awesome build simplicity... however it leaks every time I leave it on it`s side and this isn`t the worst part of it. I just can`t find a good build that will produce a very good flavor. Some told me that the chamber of this atomizer is just too big and airy to produce a good flavor, so I thought that I could move on and get myself a new atomizer that is designed better for flavor.

Recently I vaped from some guys I know using an Aromamizer Supreme RDTA and I must say that I was impressed. Also, the fact that it has juice flow control is great. I could use that tank very easily while on the go.

Can you recommend anything better for flavor than Aromamizer Supreme? Or will I be fine if I go with that one? The clouds don`t matter much to me, because I have the Limitless for that purpose. Also, it`s very important that it is leak-proof. Thanks!

IMO if you're looking for flavor then a single coil deck with bottom airflow is the way to go. The Merlin, Merlin Mini, Goblin V3, Mage GTA, Serpent, Serpent Mini, Serpent Mini 25 and Geekvape Ammit are all single coil tanks with bottom airflow. The Aromamizer is nice but it's very airy. The Boreas is considered to be on par with the Aromamizer and can probably be found cheaper. The Boreas Vapes almost exactly like the Aromamizer. The Alleria is a nice dual coil flavor tank as well.

The Boreas IMO is much better than the Aromamizor in regards to flavor and performance.
Another good one if you like the Geni style is the VGod Trick Tank Pro, excellent flavor. I ended up giving my Limitless Plus away, total Clouds Bro device with little flavor. The VGod with bottom air flow is excellent and have had zero issues with leaking.

Might try the Thereom too. Good single coil genny style tank and easy to wick. Airflow control ring is tricky to get down right at first, but once you do, that tank is a flavor machine.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Why are you laying it on its side?
Most generally leaks in this style atty are caused by wicking issues.
I have many different styled ones and for me the only one I have ever had issues with is the Theorem but I am NOT going to say it was zero percent my fault.
I just put the 20ml tank on my modfather last night and when I woke up today I found about 5ml of it on the table.
This is definitely NOT the tanks fault.
It was caused by me not using enough wicking.
Myself I really enjoy the Limitless Plus RDTA as well as the Combo RDTA.
I'm only saying all this to get you to try looking at different wicking options/styles so you don't leak.
However laying and RDTA on its side still escapes me while in search of why it may be done.

It happens for me to "lay it on it`s side" if I get to use it on the go and I store my mod in my pocket. However, I saw that sometimes it does not happen, so I must assume that indeed it`s my fault. Anyway, that does not solve the muted flavor problem.

I found the atomizers that Deucesjack recommended interesting, however I was looking for something bigger. The Boreas looks interesting but after watching a few videos I found that I like Aromamizer a little bit more. I like the fact that you can adjust airflow and juice flow separately. Anybody here that has the Supreme can tell me if there are any drawbacks to it?

The Boreas and Supreme are very similar except for the separate jfc they are extremely close. The Aromamizer is definitely machined better in every way. The Boreas can be found for under $20 if you look. The Supreme was just on sale for $7.50 at Yeti Vape for Black Friday. I Doubt you'll ever see it at that price again. Lots of people here bought a slew of them in Black. Maybe someone here would be nice enough to sell you one around the price of a Boreas. The Aromamizer Supreme usually sells for around $30. I do get slightly better flavor from the Boreas but that's just my opinion. Oh yeah, the drawback on the Supreme is at certain settings the atty turns into a whistle. Airflow on the Boreas is much smoother.

If I came off as sounding dickish it was unintentional, I was just curious.
I've not had muted flavor using claptons with cotton bacon.
I have a few of the Aromamizer but haven't opened any of them up yet so I can't help any with those.
But you could also look at a few of these:
Modfather - 30mm
Ohmega Beast - 30mm
Ohmega Alpha BFT - 30mm
Ohmega Calyps - 30mm
Ijoy COMBO RDTA
Smok TF-RDTA
Smok TF-RTA
Smok Minos
Sense Herakles RTA-2
GeekVape Eagle

Just tossing out alternative ideas.

+1 for the Serpent Mini 25. I have many of the tanks mentioned here and the after getting the Serpent I've hardly used anything else. The small deck makes for great flavor and exceptional capacity for a mini.

Wicking is simple and forgiving, and despite the lack of JFC I've had no leaks. I carry it in my pocket all the time. I flip it before completely tightening the cap after filling to avoid spitting, other than that it has no issues. Build quality is excellent.

Agreed, so far it's my favorite Single coil tank. Just wish it held more juice. Ammit, White Bone, and Merlin Mini are on the way. We'll see how it stacks up.

I definitely love my serpent mini, its great for my suit pocket for the drive back and forth from church and the flavor is fantastic. Single coil, small tanks seem to give the best flavor.

I have the IJoy Combo RDTA on a daily basis and I LOVE that tank. I have dual 7 wrap claptons in it at .5Ω and the flavor and clouds are both amazing. Simple to wick and 6ml juice capacity. Awesome tank. And only time it has leaked was if it was DIRECTLY on its side (happens lol). Well worth checking out.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Nice review you got there @SirRichardRear. Today I bought my Aromamizer Supreme RDTA (or RTA? :D). However I am a bit disappointed with the tank and a little with the shop.

First of all, when I bought it, it was not sealed because it was one of the displayed ones (and also the last). I did not receive any discount for that, but I considered that it would not be any big deal. However, when I got home, the guy who runs the shop called me (we know each other) to tell me that it was a misunderstanding and that the displayed price was wrong. This is the part that I`m disappointed with regarding the shop.

About the tank now. The first thing that I noticed which I don`t like and I would like to ask you if it is normal, is that the building deck is a little bit wobbly and also it falls out of the atomizer when I unscrew the bottom cap. In the videos I viewed on youtube, I noticed that the deck stays fixed and you have to pull it out. The second is that the drip tip is also a little bit wobbly. The third (and the most important I say) is that the atomizer itself has a wobble when I get to screw it on my mod (Cuboid) and maybe it happens from my mod, I really do not know what to say.

What do you guys think? Should I get back the product to that shop and get my money back? Or is this something normal? Thanks.

Sounds like you're missing the O-ring that goes between the deck and the base.
If you are ok with the price and it works properly, no need to return it.
However if you cannot resolve the issues with it and/or aren't happy with the deal you got, return that demo unit and get a new one elsewhere.

Sounds like your missing some orings. It's a solid tank no wobble and the deck stays in place easily and shouldn't fallout

I see. Well, I have already spoken with the guy at the shop and I will get my money back tomorrow. On Thursday, my order from another shop should be here and I will get my new Aromamizer. Hope I will be happy with that one. :D

Don't be disappointed when the drip tip is wobbly on the new one ;) Every Aromamizer I have, the drip tip doesn't snug fit as I would like...its the nature of how the top cap is made...Slightly rounded with a flat bottom drip tip

@hondaFAN you know there are 2 little notches in the base of the deck that have to line up with the barrel of the chimney.

Yup i point that out here (10:54 mark) for some reason the forum keeps overwriting my time stamp on it

Yes, I'm aware of the notches. However, I've seen in some videos that when you push the deck inside the barrel of the chimney, you need to put some pressure. Also, that way, if you turn over the atomizer, the deck won't fall and will stay in place. In my case, the deck seems like it's 1mm smaller and it just doesn't fit tight. Maybe it's just me not knowing how it should behave.

thats not normal at all. I could see deck issues. I noted that the postless deck i got with me LE supreme was tight as hell. to the point where it's a struggle to get it in and out. My 2 post deck is perfect. fits snug but is easy to get in and out. Did you check the deck to make sure there is an oring? remember this was opened at the store so it's possible someone there was using it and lost an oring or 2

I looked at the deck and there is one little o-ring mounted on it. That`s why I don`t understand why it behaves like that. I`ll return this one tomorrow and hope the next will be alright. :)

sounds good. I have 3 supreme's that I've opened (and a bunch more i haven't yet lol) and none of them had the deck falling out

Well, today I received my brand new Aromamizer Supreme. I gotta say that now I`m even more astonished about the flaws that the other had. This one, which was sealed, was indeed looking like a brand new atomizer should look. The decks stays fit in it`s place, the drip tip is even better (it`s a little bit larger).

I have built something pretty on it and vaped away. The flavor is now deeper (with a better flavor I expect an even better result). Even the clouds are fatter than I expected. I had no problems with any leakings, with the JFC wide open. The coil was made from a GeekVape clapton (26G + 32G), 4 wraps, 3mm ID, dual coil with some kind of scottish roll wicking which came out at around 0.4ohms. I`ve been vaping that at about 70W and I had no dry hits, even after chain vaping it. Awesome tank! Now I can`t wait to try more complex flavours. :D
