My wife still uses the vape pen, and she is always telling me how flavorful mine is compared to hers. I use the cloud beast with the v8 in it and love it. She doesn't like mine because she says its too big and bulky, she wants a tank that is slim like her kangertech mini protank. I don't know of any subohm that is comparable in size to that tank. She uses the istick 30w and likes that too. Does anyone have any ideas about what tank would be somewhat comparable, and one that doesn't have leaking issues and would work with her istick?

With a 30 watt mod, she can't use sub ohm coils/tanks.
She could use a "better" tank like a Nautilus X, eLeaf GS air, or a Melo 3. All three of those with 1.0 and higher ohm coild will work on her 30 watt device and should provide her a more flavorful vape. But she is not going to be "clouds bro" with the tanks.
She could move into a 75 watt device that is single battery, get the "slim" factor, get more clouds with "cloud" tanks, but will be changing batteries often.
Let her decide where she wants to move with it. She can up the tank type, or move into a whole new set up. My wife has no interest in clouds. She uses low watt, MTL vape gear.

Yeah i'd say a 70-75 watt device which can be really small and cheap and a clieto or baby beast tank

Ijust 2 or the new Ijust S. I use the 2 for out and about. The stock tank holds 5.5 ml and will take .18, .3 and .5 ohm coils. Larger than a pen but still not to bulky.
A smok micro tank or a tfv8 baby beast. Get her like an IPV D2 if you can still find it and it will be cheap also. That thing will stand up to all kinds of abuse ! Otherwise a good everything kit that's real hot right now that includes the baby beast tank is the smok alien kit. It's tiny also for a dual battery mod. Good luck and you better make the right choice or your sleeping on the couch LMAO !
Oh Yeah I forgot......If she likes something similar to a vape pen take a look at the My Von Earl kits

If you get her into a mod like a SMOK alien this TFV4 Micro would be awesome for her at 55 watts using the .3Ω CLP2 coil.
The .4Ω in the baby beast is also great at about 55 watts.

clieto is another great choice too. I think the clieto and baby beast are about even in everything
I showed her the Alien kit that comes with the baby beast and told her that the alien is small and the tank is just a little smaller than my beast and she said she would like that...but she wants to stay with her pen right now. She is worried about stepping down on her nicotine so much because she uses 18 nic right now. I explained to her that if she went to 6 with the better tank she gets a bigger hit and it would take care of her cravings.

pretty much. the reason you step down is you get a lot more nicotine in your hit in tanks like that compared to a vape pen.
Ah just get it for her and once she sees it and tries it you'll come out smelling like a rose lol. Good luck with whatever you get her.

The nautilus mini is still in my daily rotation sitting on top the newish Istick 80W with 5,000 mAh builtin battery, with a mod like tht she will have plenty of growing room
If she is a MTL vaper, it'd be a transition over to a DL on the baby beast.
It took me forever to get my wife to upgrade but she still refuses to DL so she sticks with the Cubis using the 1.5Ω coil.
She'd rather put up with an occasional gurgle issue rather than getting away from MTL.
Her choice and it keeps her off the cancer sticks so I'm all for it.
Yea she is a DL vaper, so it shouldn't be a huge change for her, just a bigger hit. I can't find them in stock anywhere now, they are all on "pre-order" so they are just out of stock. Not a big deal so when they do come back in stock I will get it for her. Plus if she doesn't like it then I just inherited a new baby beast tank and an alien mod. So either way I go it will be a win! lmao
I can back Richard up here. I use the Baby Beast and it is awesome. Especially the Octunple coils, in my opinion more vapor and longer lasting. Just be aware that it is a different style of vaping. It will be DL, direct lung, vaping as opposed to MTL.
She uses DL, and I use the Cloud Beast so it will be a similar hit to mine. She uses mine once in a while just to taste what I have made and she is always wowed! If I was her I would absolutely love it.
My wife loves the Alien. She wanted small in the beginning, so she had a Kangertech Nano. Suprisingly, the Alien isn't much bigger, just heavier. She says the Alien feels much better in her hand, and likes the firebar much better than the the button trigger on the Nano. She also says the flavor and overall quality of the draw improved with her old tank on the better mod.
I also have the Alien with the Baby Beast tank. Lovin' it more every day.
