Looking for a smooth bourbon flavor recipe

I'm looking for a bourbon whiskey flavor recipe, something that tastes like Eagle Rare bourbon, which is a very smooth bourbon that has mild oak flavor and VERY subtle hints of vanilla, caramel, and almond. If you're a bourbon drinker, pick up a 5th. It's replaced Maker's Mark as my main go-to (I save Basil Hayden's for special occasions LOL).

Just a thought but couldn't you just open air steepsome of your eagle until the alcohol evaporates or burn it off and then add unflavored vg/pg?

Hmmm I'd need to think about that. At 45 proof I'd need to cook off a little more than half the volume of liquid to get to the concentrate... I may need to experiment!

Alright, I've bit the bullet and purchased some flavors for other recipes I want to give a whirl. I'm still looking for a nice smooth bourbon flavor though. FA Vanilla Bourbon is NOT a bourbon flavor, it's a bold vanilla flavor (according to HIC's notes). One of the flavors I purchased was FA Whiskey, maybe I can combine with some other flavors to smoothen and sweeten it up a touch? Thoughts from the mixologists?

Vanilla Bourbon is never bourbon - it's a variation of vanilla! TFA makes a bourbon flavor that is pretty realistic - Kentucky Bourbon!
